Prosecutor Im accuses Ki Hyun of planting a bug in his office. We get a flashback of Ki Hyun being at the prosecutor's office earlier that day. Prosecutor Im was in a meeting. Ki Hyun stepped inside his office while the secretary was out. When she comes back, he says he'll wait for the prosecutor outside. This was before their meeting in the park.
Prosecutor Im knows the bug belonged to the cyber team because of the serial number. One of his men and Kang Mi go look at the check out log to see who used and planted the bug. Ki Hyun wonders if this has something to do with Se Kang's secret slush fund. Prosecutor Im warns Ki Hyun not to threaten him.
Hyuk Joo comes forward and confesses to checking out the bug. He says he doesn't know how the bug ended up in the prosecutor's office. Ki Hyun had nothing to do with it. After confirming that Hyuk Joo did indeed check out the bug, he is taken into custody. Hyuk Joo whispers "7:39..he knows" to Ki Hyun before being dragged away. Director Jun asks Ki Hyun what's going on. Ki Hyun responds that someone is trying to frame the cyber team. Director Jun attempts to ask about Se Kang's secret slush fund but Ki Hyun tells him to ask someone else.
By "7:39" Hyuk Joo meant Sang Woo. Once Ki Hyun and Kang Mi have confirmed that he can be trusted, they ask him to follow them to a local cafe. Sang Woo explains that they were bugging Jae Hee at Safe Tech. Ki Hyun concludes that Hyun Min got the bug from Jae Hee and gave it to the prosecutor to use against him. He asks Sang Woo for the recorder but he replies that Seung Yeon has it.
Seung Yeon meets with Yeon Joo. Seung Yeon explains that the spy bug was for Jae Hee. Hyuk Joo wasn't spying on the prosecutor. She hands the recording to Yeon Joo and asks her to write a report explaining what really happened.
Prosecutor Im questions Hyuk Joo about the bug. Hyuk Joo responds that he never said he bugged the prosecutor's office. Prosecutor Im warns Hyuk Joo that if he doesn't cooperate it could hurt the cyber team. He shows Hyuk Joo the report Yeon Joo wrote about the spy bug. In the article, Yeon Joo makes it look like Hyuk Joo has a history of illegally wiretapping people.
Hyuk Joo is jailed. The cyber team are relieved of their posts. A frustrated Seung Yeon can't get a hold of Yeon Joo. She gets a visit from Ki Hyun. He's there to ask about the spy bug. Seung Yeon fills him in on some of what she remembers from the recording. The day Jae min was arrested she remembers hearing someone tell Jae Hee about Sang Won's laptop. Ki Hyun leaves after encouraging Seung Yeon to continue working on True Story.
Ki Hyun visits Hyuk Joo in jail. He tells Hyuk Joo that evidence is mounting against him but to wait patiently while they investigate. The cyber team meets at a cafe to discuss their next move.
Hyun Min is made chairman of Se Kang. While the ceremony is taking place, Kang Mi copies the black box data from Hyun Min's car. Sang Woo poses as YJ security personnel to get into Se Kang. He copies the hard drive from director Moon's laptop. Tae Kyun hits Safe tech with a DDOS attack. Ki Hyun pretends to be part of the response team to gain access to the server room. Ki Hyun copies surveillance footage off the server. As he's leaving, he spots the update server.
Prosecutor Im holds a press conference about the bug planted in his office. He states the bug was planted in his office on July 16 by Hyuk Joo. That Hyuk Joo also did the same thing to Safe Tech.
After meeting with Ki Hyun, Director Jun holds his own press conference. He has evidence that proves Hyuk Joo is innocent. We get a flashback of the cyber team investigating how the spy bug ended up in the prosecutor's office. Safe Tech surveillance footage shows the spy bug being inside the drawer of Jae Hee's co-worker until July 16. They check the copies Sang Woo made of director Moon's laptop and his secretary's desktop. They find director Moon's schedule in the desktop. Security footage from Yechon restaurant shows him meeting with the Safe Tech employee who had the spy bug and prosecutor Im. The video also shows prosecutor dropping and picking up the spy bug. The prosecutor put the bug in his office. No one was spying on him. Director Jun reinstates the cyber team.
A frustrated Hyun Min calls Woong Jin to have the Dae Young group dig up dirt on the prosecutor and director Jun. Prosecutor Im is under investigation for framing Hyuk Joo.
Hyun Min goes to Safe Tech. He learns about the DDOS attack from the previous day. Someone sneaked into the server room and copied the security footage during the attack. They also got into the update sever.
Hyuk Joo is released from jail. The cyber team springs into action. Ki Hyun put a tracking program on the update server. Safe Tech's vaccine program is really spyware. The update server is what the Dae Young group uses to dig up dirt on everyone for Hyun Min. Kang Mi also put a tracker on Hyun Min's black box and Sang Woo did the same for director Moon's flash drive. Tae Kyun gets a hit on the update server and they track the IP. They head to the location of the IP address.
Hyun Min calls Woong Jin to inform him the update server has been compromised. The Dae Young attempts to get rid of all evidence before the cyber team arrives. As the cyber team gets to the Dae Young hideout, a desktop hits the ground in front of them.
