keitachan2006: I couldn't have agreed with you more, it's quite frustrating watching this drama. And the worst part of it all is the absurdity of Yeon Hwa. I mean, it's unbelievable..............

Imagine the scenario of Yeon Hwa and Tae Il getting married for revenge. I think this pairing would be more intriguing than Yeon Hwa with Kang Wook. It's not going to happen but it would certainly make things more interesting. How did Tae Il come to believe Yeon Hwa? He doesn't. He's just helping her as a favor to Kang Wook.

from eps 45 to 48
Since Yoo Ra is pregnant, Yoo Ra's dad pleads with Yoon Jae to reconcile with her. They return home together and he moves back in.
With Kang Wook's help, Yeon Hwa and Young Soon get jobs working for Tae Il's company Hello Mobile. Yeon Hwa is surprised to learn Tae Il is the head of the company.
Messages badmouthing Yeon Hwa are being posted on the company's website. The IP for the user posting the messages is traced back to Yoo Ra's office. Yeon Hwa confronts Yoo Ra about the messages.
Yeon Hwa learns from Young Soon that they got their jobs because of Kang Wook. Yeon Hwa invites him to dinner to thank him. While at the restaurant, they run into Yoo Ra and Yoon Jae. Yoon Jae gets up and leaves without Yoo Ra. When Yoo Ra gets home, she comes clean to Yoon Jae about having framed Yeon Hwa as a corporate spy. She begs him to forgive her but he's not ready to do so.
Yoon Jae meets with Yeon Hwa and tells her he finally learned the truth about what happened. He asks Yeon Hwa to forgive him. Yeon Hwa doesn't want to forgive and forget.
Yeon Hwa and her co-workers go out to eat. They start asking her questions about her past. Tae Il asks about Yoon Hee's accident. Yeon Hwa responds that she had nothing to do with it and storms out. Tae Il follows her and pins Yeon Hwa up against a fence. Kang Wook shows up allowing Yeon Hwa to get away from Tae Il.
Kang Wook goes after Yeon Hwa. She asks him why he got her a job for Hello Mobile if Tae Il was the president. He responds that he was only trying to help. That he knew Yoo Ra framed her as a corporate spy and was sorry he didn't do anything about it.
Kang Wook then meets with Tae Il. He tells Tae Il that Yeon Hwa is an honest person and had nothing to do with Yoon Hee's death. The next day Yeon Hwa attempts to hand in her resignation but Tae Il doesn't accept it. Tae Il tells Yeon Hwa that if she's innocent, to prove herself.
Yoo Ra is surprised to learn that Yeon Hwa will be a part of a team from Hello Mobile joining her for a home shopping network appearance. She goes to her house to get Soo Ae to come with her to supposedly go see Yeon Hwa.
--------------------------------------------------
Some parts might sound incomplete because I skipped thru some of it. This drama has become increasingly frustrating to watch. I'm seriously considering dropping it. I'll let you all know after next week whether I'll continue watching Yellow Boots and keep up with the weekly recaps.

Thanks Knov1!
I know how you're feeling as I can relate as well.
I hope they end this drama at 80-90 episodes.

from eps 49 to 52
Yoo Ra leaves Soo Ae alone at an intersection. Yeon Hwa is forced to leave work right before a meeting to find Soo Ae. Once she finds her, Soo Ae explains that Yoo Ra left her there. Yeon Hwa is able to get back to the meeting in time. Later, Yeon Hwa takes Soo Ae home and confronts Yoo Ra about what happened. Yoo Ra claims that Soo Ae wandered off on her own.
Yoo Ra attempts to sabotage Yeon Hwa during the home shopping event by taking her script. Yoo Ra's plan backfires as Hello Mobile is successful in selling out. While Yoo Ra is on tv, Yoon Jae finds Yeon Hwa's script inside her bag. This makes Yoo Ra freeze on stage. After, Yeon Hwa confronts Yoo Ra about the script. Yoo Ra claims that it must have been left in the waiting room and she grabbed it by mistake. When they get home, Yoo Ra tells Yoon Jae that she wasn't trying to harm Yeon Hwa on purpose but he doesn't believe her.
Yoo Ra and her grandma try to gather support to help Yoon Jae become president of J Cosmetics again. Kang Wook's Mom finds out and tries to stir up trouble between Yoon Jae and Yoo Ra. She first arranges a meeting with Yeon Hwa at a hotel. She then sends Yoon Jae a text as if it were from Yeon Hwa claiming that she needs help. Yoon Jae blows off Yoo Ra to go meet Yeon Hwa but Yoo Ra follows him.
When Yoon Jae gets to the hotel room, Yeon Hwa is surprised to see him. Yoo Ra storms in and confronts Yeon Hwa about their secret rendezvous. Yeon Hwa tells Yoo Ra things aren't as they seem and leaves. Yoon Jae goes after Yeon Hwa. Yoo Ra chases after him and falls down a flight of stairs.
After being taken to the hospital, Yoo Ra and Yoon Jae find out that she lost the baby. A distraught Yoo Ra kicks Yoon Jae out of the room. By the next morning, Yoo Ra has disappeared frm her hospital room. Yoo Ra's grandma goes to Hello Mobile to confront Yeon Hwa about meeting Yoon Jae and Yoo Ra losing the baby. Yeon Hwa tells Yoo Ra's grandma that feels bad Yoo Ra lost the baby but that she wasn't secretly meeting with Yoon Jae. That she was at the hotel to meet Kang Wook's mom [Yoon Jae's stepmom].
Yoo Ra's grandma then goes to meet with Yoon Jae's stepmom. She doesn't deny arranging a meeting with Yeon Hwa, to supposedly learn if there was something going on with her and Yoon Jae. She denies having anything to do with the text Yoon Jae received. Yoo Ra's grandma then explains the situation to Yoon Jae at the hospital. Yoon Jae meets with Yeon Hwa to clear up the misunderstanding about their meeting. Yeon Hwa feels bad about Yoo Ra losing the baby. Yoon Jae's glad to be able to clear things up with Yeon Hwa and doesn't want to leave things on bad terms but hopes this is the last incident between them.
Kang Wook learns from Young Soon that Yeon Hwa was at the hotel to meet with his mom. Yoon Jae goes home and confronts his stepmom about what happened at the hotel. She doesn't deny arranging the meeting with Yeon Hwa but, once again, claims to have nothing do with the text he received. She tells Yoon Jae that she was concerned about him and Yoo Ra and was only trying to help for the sake of the baby. Yoon Jae doesn't buy it. He knows the lengths she went to have Kang Wook replace him as president. After Yoon Jae leaves, Kang Wook tells his mom to leave Yeon Hwa out of all of this.
Yoo Ra goes to see Joon Hyuk [Tae Yang] but is cold towards him. After Yeon Hwa is done meeting with Yoo Ra's dad to explain what happened at the hotel, she gets a call from Yoo Ra, who wants to meet with her.
-------------------------------------------------------
I thought it was funny how Yoo Ra's face lit up when Yoon Jae stood up for her in front of Kang Wook (ep 51). Of course, that was short lived because she was fuming by the end of the episode. I felt bad for Yoo Ra after she lost the baby. She's evil but really wanted to a kid of her own.
Going into next week, it seems like Yoon Jae sincerely wants to make things work between them but I don't think Yoo Ra cares anymore. She's gone mad, which isn't good, considering it's Yoo Ra we're talking about.
The way things are going, you'd think the drama was about Yoo Ra's revenge on Yeon Hwa. I understand the need for a strong villain in a drama such as this but, so far, she's overshadowed Yeon Hwa. When Yoo Ra isn't up to something, Yellow Boots becomes stagnant. The story is way too dependent on her to keep things moving.

Is Yoo Ra arranging for Joon Hyuk [Tae Yang] to be sent away overseas?
I don't feel sorry for Yoo Ra at all. Kang Wook's mum - I don't know how she and Kang Wook's relationship will turn out. Will Kang Wook leave J Cosmetics?
For Yoo Ra to go ballistic, her son (or her mum who is on the verge of getting well maybe killed off by Yoo Ra this time) maybe the catalyst. If not, finding her son in the end might be her redemption.

Is Yoo Ra arranging for Joon Hyuk [Tae Yang] to be sent away overseas? Yes. She plans to send him to England.

The does Yeon blame Yoon Jae for what has happened up to this point? I know he asked for her to forgive him? Still kinda confused about that.

Hello and welcome to the board rdb8329. Glad to have another person join the discussion.
I don't think she blames him. She doesn't seem to hate him. He's Yeon Hwa's first love and the father of her child after all. All her hatred seems to be directed towards Yoo Ra and her family. I'd say she's more disappointed that Yoon Jae doubted her. He initially believed her and even said so on the stand during the trial.
Their relationship went sour when he decided to marry Yoo Ra. Yeon Hwa tried to warn Yoon Jae about Yoo Ra more than once. He didn't listen. He was pressured into marrying Yoo Ra but, if he just checks the surveillance video for himself, he would have realized that Yeon Hwa was telling the truth. He made no attempt to view the video until Yeon Hwa was out of jail. He didn't even get to see it, due to Kang Wook preventing anyone from seeing it without his permission, but Yoo Ra came clean about framing Yeon Hwa as a corporate spy.
Once he learned the truth, Yoon Jae apologized to Yeon Hwa for doubting her. Of course, to Yeon Hwa, an apology does little good at this point. She already served time for the crime and it changes nothing between them. Like it or not, he's still married to Yoo Ra. Yoon Jae even admitted to Kang Wook that learning the truth doesn't really change anything. That starting over with Yeon Hwa was no longer possible. So, that's where their strained relationship stands.

LOL @ the thought he thinks that won't change anything...wait till he learns about who killed his sister. I believe that episode will be like "Don't Hesitates" ep 82 when the ex-boyfriend found out that his girlfriend donated her liver to save him and his family lied about knowing who gave him their liver! Going to be epic!
Personally I feel for Yoon Jae he is manipulated and lied to at every corner he's the real victim in the drama.

As usual, thanks for the lovely recap Knov1. In regards to your personal thoughts about where the story is heading, I personally agree with you. If I didn't know better I'd think that Yoo Ra is the one seeking revenge not Yeon Hwa...........It's almost laughable the way Yoo Ra is acting like she's the victim and not the antagonist. The scariest thing about her is that she doesn't have one conscience bone in her body. Bad to the bone is putting it nicely.....she's pure EVIL. Yeon Hwa is annoying me. Come on....who leaves their mother in a home where she's being abused constantly. Also, her sister's life is at risks as well. Is she demented? Unbelievable. rdb8329: I really don't feel bad and/or sorry for Yoon Jae. He deserves what's coming to him. I cannot wait for him to find out that the woman he married is the one responsible for his sister's death.

iposh: After rereading and watching I see where folks feel the need to say that he deserves and I do agree he deserves what is about to come to him. The fact the ONLY person who was truly with him was the ONE he betrayed, but I agree can't wait till he finds out that not only his wife betrayed him but everyone else around him did as well.

Thanks for the recap. I agree that Yoo Ra is getting all the best screen time. This drama is definitely about Yoo Ra's boots walking over everyone lol. Since Kang Wook set it so he is the only one who can see the security tape doesn't that mean that he knew YH was innocent while she was in jail but did nothing to get her sentence reverted and get her released? Or did he do something on her behalf? I mean she served what 3 years? That means he did not do much to help other than sending her cards to cheer her up. Let's balance that - proving she is innocent and getting her out of jail or sitting on his butt letting her rot while sending her an occasional card? If the latter is what he really did he should be dipped in boiling oil. Really at this point I am not fond of Kang Wook and really don't like Yoon Jae. Guess it is too much to expect that Yh will end up with Tae Il. He is the least crappy of the 3 guys to me.

Kang Wook has repeatedly said he feels bad for Yeon Hwa and wants to help. If he really wanted to help, he'd expose Yoo Ra. Both he and his mom are just as guilty as Yoo Ra's family of helping to cover for her.
