Does anyone know why the very beginning of the Yellow Hankerchief does not start out now with the music it always did. I really looked forward to hearing it. They changed the pictures in the beginning, and shortened the music.
Does anyone know if you can get the music and lyrics on tape? If you do, please let me know who I need to contact??

The opening was changed by Korean Television Enterprises (KTE). Everyone was wondering why Young-joon wasn't in the old opening, and in this one he is. It looks to me like it's just the end of the opening, though, since there are no credits.
If you want to ask KTE directly what's the deal, you can reach them at:
Korean Television Enterprises (213) 382-6700 625 S Kingsley Dr Los Angeles, CA

Soju,
Thank you for the address. Now that I think of it, I do notice that YJ wasn't in the pictures. I was just caught up on that beautiful music in the beginning of the story, I never noticed.
They need to go back to the original beginning, but I am sure thatwill not happen. Maybe now they have a few more minutes to show more of the story. Could be this way in order to fit the whole story in by a certain deadline.
If you know of anywhere to get the music, I would like to buy a tape of it.

Here in Los Angeles (where KTE originates) the theme-song sequence still begins with the old yellow-handkerchief-in-the-water shot, accompanied by the usual “La lala lala la” YH theme music. Some of the accompanying video was recently changed – what used to be a shot of Ja-young walking down a corridor is now a shot of Ja-young walking through an orchard in bloom. KTE has always sharply truncated the theme segment on their L.A. broadcasts, but it does seem even worse than usual lately, running only long enough (usually about 20 seconds) for them to overlay the names of all the shows sponsors. Then, it’s right to commercials. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them run the whole thing! To buy the music via mail-order, I can only give you the old standby: www.annyoung.com/cdstore/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=ANMS&Product_Code=1o5010001632I’ve never bought from them, but they have a pretty good reputation. Thank you for the information where to buy the CD. I looked it up on the internet, and it is only $9.45. Of course, I do not know what they will charge to ship it to Wilmington, Delaware. Thanks again!
