There are many references on this board to "The Writers" of Yellow Handkerchief (including a few from myself).
According to KBS, though, there is only one writer, Park Jung Ran. She must be a genius, the way she can keep the plot twisting and percolating, episode after episode. I can only recall about a week two months ago where there was a slight lull. Otherwise, I don't DARE miss a day!
If this were an ordinary Daruma, we'd be in the middle of six weeks of tedium, as the new bride tries to win over her mean mother-in-law. In contrast, YH is giving us a critical examination of sex, society, and the law. Making us think, and entertaining us at the same time.
I, for one, will be paying extra attention to the writing credits for forthcoming shows, to see what else she comes up with!

I agree that the writer of this drama must be brillant!
This is the second Korean drama I am watching, and the American soap operas cannot compare with the writings of these korean dramas. I was very upset last week when I had to miss two nights of the Yellow Handerchief. Since it started these were the only two nights I missed.
