Short synopsis Ep. 3:
They get the report on the newspaper's owners. Taesok, ill from the helicopter ride, immediately starts picking at her. She is dispirited by his many comments, and also because she believes the report will never air. (Such things normally are suppressed by powerful people.) "It's not like the old days!" It is, however, almost like the old days, but they eventually prepare to air the report. Wujin's rookie (Soonchul) pulls a Tom Sawyer stunt to get everyone else to do his work, but she catches him at it. She is assigned to report on people who sell bootleg designer products to Japanese tourists and is forced to use Soonchul and his friend to help get the report. Soonchul asks too many questions and is too obvious with his hidden camera, and they are caught by the crooks. Wujin trades their lives for the camera: "We're TV reporters, without film there is no report." She tears down Soonchul and leaves him standing on the street, "fired," even though she secretly filmed it all with her little camera recorder. Soonchul drinks himself insensible. At the police station, he wakes up clutching another (female) rookie's person, and unfortunately, she works for the rival newspaper. A threatened charge of rape is used to kill the story about the newspaper owner's illegal estate. Meantime, the police think they are staking out criminal Jang, but they're in the wrong place. Jang calls Wujin and makes a date.

What, nobody is into this show enough to say something about it? I just finished this episode--computer problems--and I think it's pretty fantastic. The war between the paper and the TV station, giants screaming in fury, little people getting crushed on either side! The dopey but cute rookie reporter putting his foot in it left and right! Another police bungle (RCMP they are not)! I was spellbound.

I just started watching this over the weekend, had to finish another drama first! I like it a lot, but "cringe" everytime Ji Jin Hee raises his voice-- after watching him in "He who can't marry", it just seems so out of "character" for him! Hopefully I will catch up to everyone and be able to post more detailed comments soon.

LOL, Bird. I'm just happy to see him playing something other than a marshmallow. A really really handsome and manly marshmallow, but, nonetheless...
