Below may be spoilers....
In Yi San, there are DJG references made a few times, particularly when the characters of Lee Ip Sae (Young-ro in DJG) and Kim So-yi (Lady Min in DJG) interact. Kim's character says she feels like she's met Lee's character before, and later says that they must have been enemies in the past.
Again, in the final episode, when the two of them are in the kitchen, one of them notes that she feels like she used to work in the Royal Kitchen.
LOL. Yes, those are funny. I always appreciate such things, though.
I'm watching King and I right now, and Yang Mi-kyung, who played DJG's mentor, Lady Han, is here playing the King's grandmother/regent. Every time she talks to some kitchen lady or court lady, I expect her to cry out, "Oh, yes! I KNOW! I KNOW!" LOL.
From Dae Jang-geum: Sun-dol: "Are you trying to dry me up and kill me? Why do you say the same things over and over every day? Rather, come and hit me once! Aigu!" But then: Dr. Lazarus: "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Warvan... You shall be avenged."
