Welcome to the club catty, We all know of course that these elder characters are convincing not only because of their acting skills, but also the talented make-up artists, because after all, Grandma Wey and Grandma Sohn are played by actors only in their 20's.

Just kidding, of course. But seriously, one factor in the extra flexibility in the elderly in Korea may be all their sitting/sleeping on the floor, as opposed to the comfy chairs and soft beds we baby ourselves with. Seems though, that we see more and more beds and sofas in these series, particularly among the younger generation.

Although maybe that practice is catching up w/ Grandma Sohn at least. I'm referring, of course, to her having knee pain and having to get an MRI for it. Wonder what that's all about...or will it be another one of those dropped plots?
Incidentally, I was thinking yesterday that scene of her going into the MRI could almost have been a commercial for one of the local kbc28 YH sponsors. ;D

:DLOL! You're right , Jade Eyes! I went back and looked at my tape and it almost looks like they were going into a clinic commercial. They shouldn't take chances like that. People could start channel-surfing, or head for the facilities.

In grade-school social studies class, I remember being taught that Asians tradionally sit on the floor, and that many adult Americans had a problem with that. As a limber eight-year-old, I wondered, "What's the deal?". A few years ago, during a visit to Japan, waitresses automatially seated me at the tables that had chairs, normally used by the most ancient Japanese, for wich I was SO grateful! Alas, I now know all too well what the deal is
