So far, so good! I love Bae Doona and I've yet to see her in anything I didn't like, which is saying a lot if you've seen my posts over the years. How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor and Country Princess are two of the very best K-Dramas we've seen and she was brilliant in both of them. It's going to be strange only watching one episode a week, which means that it'll take four months to watch this, but I like the characters in this one and the acting is certainly above average so far. This looks like it'll be a good one! I found this from AsianFanatics about the series.

I love Bae Doona, too, teacher. I couldn't watch "Country Princess" (too much quirkiness and wackiness in her character), but I have really liked her in the movies I've seen her in, including "Please Take Care of My Cat" and "The Host." She has such an unusual and interesting face, and she's a talented actress, too.

She's now in the currently showing GOD OF STUDY which I find good but,so far,not great. Thanks for the info, pilseung! I watched the first episode already and it was kind of fun, and Bae Doona as a teacher alone will make it a series worth watching! I see what you mean, though, about good but not great. That's OK. The fansub group, Haru2subs, is doing the English subtitles, and they've only released one episode so far, but they really did a nice job with that first episode. Even though I miss the historical dramas, having two shows with Bae Doona to watch is very cool. She's a wonderful actress!

What episoe is this on? I came in part way through last night's ep.
I rather liked it. It felt very comfortable. It's been months since I watched this type of Drama, but I could pick up what was going on easily.
I've gotten so used to watching Dramas on my computer when I want, that the idea of having to turn on the TV at a particular time seems somewhat quaint. I hope to remember to tune in next week.

I believe it was ep 3 or 4.
I like BDN's character. To me, she makes the drama.

Ep 5 airs this week.
I love the artwork. I like how when asking if anyone knows the missing woman they show them a drawing of her instead of a photograph.
The story is still a little "sketchy" in some areas, but it's getting better each week.

I rented this drama a couple years ago and I loved it! I lost my KBC signal back in Oct....but I wish I could see this again. Anyone willing to tape the drama and let me view it again....I would love it! KBC made a good choice showing this drama!

I have the converter box - sometimes I can get 20. and sometimes I cannot - I have to do that old antenna dance, you know, the one we used to have to do to get any reception from old WOCH, LOL. What annoys me is that I can get one set of digital channels but when the reception is fine for those, the others that I had good reception on before, come up "no signal" . . . sigh - I give up . So I've just resigned myself to reading the posts on here. For the shows that were so rudely and abruptly cancelled, I depended upon Mikey who did a master's job in summarizing the remaining episodes of Love and Obsession for all of us. I had K-drama withdrawal for a while - but I'm almost all over it now - I only have so much patience and it's been sorely tested with KBS doing what it did . . . Hope you all enjoy the shows that are being shown . . guess I was just spoiled with all the good Korean programming we were getting from the old WOCH. Glad we had it when we did . .

I'll try the comcast channel 250. If it works then I can become addicted to K-dramas again - ;D LOL - Just now tried it - Sun night 10:20 PM and it's frozen on a scene with a man and English subtitles - just like what happens on my digital channel on my little set - maybe it will be better by the time the next K-drama airs. I can hope anyway . . .

Digital is really a nuisance too often, and the picture looks like some kind of abstract painting or else "no signal".
