Synopsis from Mhz website:
Alone in Love is a smart contemporary love story that dives into the complex world of love and relationships. Eun-ho (Son Ye-jin, Summer Scent, Lovers Concerto, April Snow) and Dong-jin (Karm Woo-Sung, The King and the Clown--the most successful Korean film of all time) were once happily married. Now divorced, their lives are impossibly entangled together. Unable to leave each other alone, they get a second chance to make their relationship work. But in order to have a future together, they must be willing to face their past. Will they be able to confront the tragedy they spent three years trying to forget? Thanks to you and Lucy for the info! I saw the posts in time for us to catch the first episode and it looks like it'll be a cute and funny series. It was a little disconcerting that it started exactly at 8:00 and ran with no commercials!
Someday also looks promising. It may end up being the better show of the two, since Bae Doona is it and everything she's in is way above average.

Ken, just a heads up. While there are humorous moments in "Alone in Love," this is definitely not a cute and funny series, but it is an emotionally complex, powerful, and well-acted one. It's one of my favorites for its handling of a topic that can rip your heart out, as well as destroy a marriage (and that's all the hint I'll offer). Lee Hana does provide comic relief as the sister, but the main couple are just fabulous together.

This is also one of my favorite dramas for the same reason. The topic is handled so well and the acting is the best. Anyone who has not seen it should. I own it but am watching it weekly with the rest of you.
