Anyone else bothered by the bright flashing colors that appear during this show? I notice they never show up in the overnight rebroadcast.

I thought it was my tv or the old tape I was using to record it! That is weird. I am still recording my dramas on the tv, using channel 41 (while the converter is turned off). How is everyone else watching these dramas? Should I be getting channel 41 kbs on the converter box?

I do the same PippiBella- Channel 41 minus the converter. I didn't seem to have any lighting problems.

I thought it was my tv and that I might need a new one. It was an interesting look, sort of like watching an animated movie.

It's the gamut warning "blue" that we're seeing because the brightness is out of range. Very annoying, especially when looking at a character's face, but yesterday it corrected itself right after the "sorry mom" came out of the police station toward the end of the episode. What a difference that made. I could actually see the sky and top half of the building. I hope they fix this, because it is bothering to say the least.

Zorro, I agree with you - that blue stuff on the faces is truly annoying - besides, it makes my eyes water to watch it - the color contrast is way out of line -- can't they SEE that at the studio and do something about it? I checked both the Comcast showing and the CH 41 without the converter box on and both show the same problem. It seems to me that they now have enough sponsors to be able to employ SOMEONE to monitor what is being shown on screen . . or maybe not???

I've seen this on other shows lately, but only in the late afternoon. The person on that shift needs a little more training, I think. The overnight rebroadcasts have all been free of this stuff. [Later] Oh, no, I just saw it in 'Summer Scent', too.
