I took a brief look at the cast page at KBS's YH site, to see if they'd added any actors (such as Sun-joo's manager), and . . .
There's children! Not babies either - a year old at least. I got out of there fast.
I suppose we're in for another flash forward.

Better steer clear of that KBS website, Soju! You'll learn things you never wanted to know!

I did hear that sometime after Ja-young returns to Seoul w/ the baby, the story fast forwards in time by at least a year or possibly more. I've also heard this is very typical of darumas. I think basically it's a good practice.
On US daytime dramas, it's the norm to age children quickly. So what you frequently see is a baby that overnight becomes a toddler, and then overnight again becomes a school-age kid. Before long, the kid is a teenager w/ all sorts of exciting plots. But while this is going on, the timeline is advancing only day by day. You see a baby or toddler look suddenly years older, while experiencing no jump in time otherwise. Viewers of the genre come to expect it and not be thrown by it. But it is jarring.
In a Korean drama, it seems they are much more likely to simply advance the timeline suddenly for all characters, letting the viewer know a significant period of time is supposed to have elapsed. If they think more interesting drama could be created for a child no longer an infant, they can advance the timeline by how much ever time is needed and pick up the story from there. This is a far more sophisticated method of story-telling than stock daytime dramas. It's much more consistent w/ formats like TV mini-series or cinema.

Better steer clear of that KBS website, Soju! You'll learn things you never wanted to know! Mikey I just wanted to copy and paste the URL of the main page. While there, I thought, "the cast page ought to be safe to visit, right?" Wrong! God only knows what kind of heroin mixed with gasoline I might have found in the photo section!

In the preview for the last episode, we see that Min-joo and Sang-min adopt a baby girl. We all know Ja-young had a baby boy. I'm thinking that those pictures that Soju saw on the YH website of the children are Ja-young's son and Min-joo's adopted daughter?!!! Yes, you're right JadeEyes, the show will be a fast foward.....5 years.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, GuestGuest? As you probably guessed, GuestGuest, those two kids were pictured together(?) , when they should be nowhere near each other!
