This isn't to be influenced by the earlier topic of who's better-looking. If you don't have a fave, you can let someone else who watches do the voting.

I'll have to think it over a bit, but why no Tae-young or Mi-ryung?

Hmmmmmmm . . . tough choice. My first instinct was to nominate Woon-kyu, but he’s been such a jackass lately that he lost my vote.
I always like strong female characterizations, and since Ja-young is the perfect example of a woman who is both gentle and tough-as-nails, she nearly got my vote, too.
But, for most lively and entertaining, I guess I have to go with Mi-ryung. Sure, she’s spoiled, immature, annoying, and maybe borderline crazy, but man, she sure is fun to watch!

My vote also goes to Mi-ryung for pretty much the same reasons that Mikey listed.

Sorry to leave your favorites' names off. Actually I had every intention of putting in Tae-young, and would have substituted it for Sun-joo, but it was too late when I thought of it. I knew we had some Mi-ryung fans out there, but favorite character? I'm surprised. Spiciest, yes. If there's a way to put in more than 8 choices, I haven't figured it out yet.

I give my vote to Young-joon. A man who loves his woman this much deserves it. I wonder what this board would do if anyone said that Minjoo was their favorite character. LOL!

Min-joo will have to wait for the least favorite characters poll. You think it's been hard deciding for this one? Who would you choose among all those we love to hate?

I have to vote for Tae-young. His character has surprised and impressed me.
A poll for least favorite ought to omit Hyun-ji. Too easy a target.

I think we'll all agree that Ja-young was intended to be the sympathetic focal point of the show, yet she's been unable to put up an impressive showing here. It speaks of a cast with a lot of strong characters and many different pespectives among viewers. It reminds me of another show with a cult following, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In their polls the title character rarely is the favorite. Go figure. I voted for Ja-young, but then what do I know- Buffy's the only one I can stand in that show.

It's true that all the characters in YH are unusually well developed and interesting, so yes, I'm sure everyone had problems selecting just one.
Picking a favorite is always tough, since "favorite" can also mean all too many things. I voted for Mi-ryung simply for her entertainment value. She's just a riot to watch.
But, if I'd considered instead my "favorite" as the character I most admired and respected, then it would have been Ja-young, no doubt.
