Oh, no, I can wait. I prefer to wait. I just thought you were using some general technical term, like "cinematography" or "set design." LOL.

Yeah, I'm watching again. I thought it was terrific the first time around, and I like seeing it again. Gives me a chance to fill in some missed episodes and also to fill in some gaps in understanding.
Not only is Minister Jo back as Gang Osu's dad (I called a friend and said if you put long, scraggly gray whiskers on dad, it's Minister Jo), but Sungji was one of the scholars in the Hall of Worthies (same twisted, demonic smile). And of course Detective Cha (?) was Baron somebody in Yi Soon Shin (I think). That's one of the things I like about KDrama, the opportunity to see actors again in different roles.

Actually, Detective Cha (I too think that's his name, but as I said, I've got Chinese-to-English subtitles now) was YSS's close peasant friend Chunsu from when Yi was a young man. You know, the guy who got mad that Sun-shin got all the breaks, so he became a petty gangster. Also, I recognized "Minister Jo" right away, also as the father from Winter Sonata--but oh WHAT a different father he plays here. Closer to Minister Jo. LOL.

Good one Soju! ;D
At first I wasn't even interested in watching this because of the drama's title but became curious after reading the comments here. I don't believe in tarot cards or psychics but thought I'd see what it was like. I started watching and if you overlook the smoke and mirrors, and concentrate on the underlying story, the drama is riveting. I'm up to episode 8. As already mentioned the actors that played Soon Shin's son Myun, Chun-su (Shin Hong in DJY) and Minister Yoon Du-su (Minister Jo Malseng in GKS) from IYSS are in it. Also the actress' that played Ke-hee as a child, Suk Kyung's mother and one of Ke-hee's sisters in Seoul 1945 are in this drama as well. The actor that plays the sinister looking young lawyer, Oh Seung Ha does a fantastic job. This is worth watching.

Well, once I read that Jo Malseng was in this one, I had to take a look, and sure enough there he was. The person he was talking with told him, "You are famous for your cold competitiveness"--for a minute I thought I was watching more GKS! But I actually didn't entirely recognize him at first because he looked heavier than in GKS. So if he's taken off some weight recently, then good for him (and for us--he's does a great job on those conniving-schemer parts).

ajk, since GKS is still fresh in your mind, Choi Manli was the driver of the truck that hit the reporter. Kim Young Chul, the student that was always bullied, is the same actor that played Jang Won, young Prince Choongnyeong's eunuch that was tortured to death, and Jang-pyung (Kohei), Yi Soon Shin's potter friend in IYSS. Lawyer Seung Ha's blind sister played Lady Chung Hyang (gisaeng) in IYSS. The actor playing the young Tae Seung played the young King Sunjo in IYSS. This is probably the first drama I've seen the actor that played Chun-su (IYSS) not being a despicable character.

Yah, Tinkerbell, ol' Chunsu is actually upstanding and moral here. Who'd have known? LOL.
I love this drama, but yesterday, a friend of mine gave me the ending. I kept saying, "but I haven't seen it yet!" and she kept asking me to explain, "Why did THIS happen?" Sigh.

Yes, it's very exciting, and I think the paranormal stuff adds a nice dimension, although I do get a little cranky with the execution. For instance, why is the spooky girl's "gift" so patchy? Why did she keep thinking she was seeing the murderer, not the person the murderer is looking at (BTW--I'm only to Ep.9 right yet, so I may be behind on what is happening). Also, when Sora lied about the "uncle" (that's what my translation calls an ajussi) who took her to the amusement park, why didn't spooky girl (I can't remember her name right now) KNOW she was lying? That whole part of the plot just took my breath away, it was so very evil. He tricked her into betraying her own mother, for pity's sake. What ratbait he is.

Bo, spooky girl's name is Hae In. I'm ready to watch episode 19 and from what I've noticed, she sees just enough to give Detective Kang something to go on. Like she said, it doesn't always work. More and more is revealed as time goes on and the picture becomes clearer. If she saw the manipulator(s) identity, the story would be solved right away and it wouldn't be as exciting or frustrating to Detective Kang. The scene with Sora lying is evil but not on her part because she thinks she's helping her "nice friend" and doesn't know she's hurting her mother.

8 or 9, I don't know. I'm at work right now. I had to interrupt my viewing to watch Spring Days, so I am now officially waaay behind.
Just to be clear, I never thought Sora was evil, just that jerk.
Even though I understand the requirements of dramatic tension, where Hae-in can't know EVERYTHING or she'd just solve the case, I still think the execution of this little plot point was bungled because it was unreasonable for Hae-in not to realize something was amiss with Sora, even if she could not quite figure out what it was. I think I'd write the paranormal stuff differently, I think they screwed it up on a few levels. For instance in this situation, because Hae-in was so completely clueless, it took me right out of the drama to be all crabby about it.
