i know some have mentione dthat they didn't like how the actor played Sejong.
But i think he did a great job of transforming him from an idealistic kid to one who seemed to bear strong physical resemblance to his father, but yet made different choices at the right time. So while in some ways he was very much his father, in others, he became a much better king.
He gained confidence through the show, and while having pain after pain, also actually learned from them, and pressed on.
Some of the supporting characters might have been better actors, but the actor who played Sejong did a great jon in the role, in my opinion.
Love to see what's next for some of these actors...

I agree.
We see him graduate from a relatively inexperienced but earnest young prince who wants to help his people to a king who was uncertain at times through to a king who learnt from life's lessons to be patient, wise and benevolent for their sake, whether they appreciated him or not.
And we can see this not only through the words used in the script but through the acting of the actor.
Bravo to him. I hope to see him in more shows.
