If tonite was the end, what a downer! KS developed Hangul and we never saw the process. With all the replay scenes at the end I got the strong impression that this was the end of the drama.

No, it's not over. Last weekend, eps 85 and 86 aired in Korea [I'm DLing them as I write this]. I don't know just how many eps this show will run. I generally don't watch the "future" eps, which are sans subtitles, since the show is complicated enough to follow avec subs.

Kathleen you are not alone, I also thought that this might be the end because of the way it ended, but I kept watching and it said "See You Next Time". We have to find out what happens to the Crown Prince and Princess!!!

Episode 86? Soju, is that an actual episode or is it a post-series special? I had been under the impression for a long time that the series would end at 85 episodes. If the number has changed again, then I'll need to correct the episode schedule.

I just watched the beginning of ep 86, and saw what years of K-drama watching have taught me to recognize as the Korean Hangul for "Final Episode".
So, we should see the end about the last week of December.

I agree it seemed strange to suddenly have all of those "flashback" scenes playing at the end. I did realize they all seemed connected to Youngsil and his history, so I figured for whatever reason, that was partially what the next episode was going to include?
