hi to all ,i am a new fan and i enjoyed watching it sooooooooo much and i have a lot of comments on this show and on the script but i will talk about yhat later but let me ask a question if anybody get it from the final eposides or not about how long jang geum stayed with the king before her reunion with mjh agin like is it months or years or what because i did not get it it seems for me it is short periods like months or even one or tow years it is just my feeling because the king suddenly become very sick so what do you think? thanks  |

Welcome, donia. Well, it's been a very long time since I saw the show, but I remember the ending well. However, you are right, the time thing does seem a little confusing.
I remember at the time we watched in Chicago, we had conversations (in this very forum!) about that. It seems to me that she was with the king for quite some time after MJH essentially removed himself from the picture for her sake. (What a guy!) It must have been at least a couple of years. The king looked older, for instance, but he was always sickly, so that might have affected it. I remember we all thought DJG and Sir Min must have been almost 50 when they finally got together, but I don't know why we thought that. There must have been some clues in the drama, but I don't remember them!
Also, obviously, there had to pass at least 7 years AFTER they were reunited, for them to have that little girl together, but that's not what you are asking about.
So, I guess my answer is, I think they must have been apart more than two years, but less than 10. ;D

hi the bo thank you for welcoming me and replying ,yeah it is confusing but no they did not mention it in the version which i saw but i think so it is around tow years or less but how do you know that they met each other again when they are 50 oh my god but how ? she still look young haaha

it says in the drama that JG & MJH were gone for 8 years ....
so my guess is around 10 years as well ^^
