I got the biggest laugh in this episode when Tungso came up with the battle plan for Heuk Sudol, et al. The three food-obsessed warriors needed just the right motivation to take that fort, and he came up with it. The best part was during the battle, when Tungso was hollering, "Show some respect to the Tactician!" He seemed to fee like Mimosa's equivalent. It was fun.

I really did LOL last nite .... feeling like he was on par with Mimosa was hilarious! ... and all those big guys being motivated by eating all the food in the city. True comic relief after all the warrior stuff.

Me, too! I was laughing so hard at both the food-driven strategy session and during the fight, when the leaders spurred on the troops by reminding them that they could "chow down" and eat like pigs if they won. Also, did you notice that Tungso basically took Dae JoYoung's strategy and changed the motivation to something more meaningful for this group of warriors? I loved the lighter side shown here.

Heuk Sudol and Co. really filled my night with laughter. And when Gaepil' suddenly attacked the map on the table, clawed at it for a moment before throwing it off the table, and burst out in a loud fit of rage---I thought I was going to pass out from LOLing so hard! Tungso was also great. . . when he announced his strategy, he gleefully added that they could pounce on the fort's food supply and "stuff themselves". I tell you---those three, hell-bent on eating---it was absolutely hysterical. I loved every minute of it! ;D ;D Believe it or not, those three talked so much about "eating", "hunger", and "starvation", with such vigor, that while I was watching, I suddenly felt an intense hunger spring up in me (although I had already eaten a full dinner). I suppose I wasn't the only one, for when the episode was over, my family suddenly jumped out of their seats and raided the pantry!

You were the only one that was hungry after that episode. I had to get something to eat myself.

Another good moment in the episode: Gulsabiwu receives news that Heuk Sudol and his army are making a frontal assault on the fort. Biwu says something such as, "A frontal attack? That's my brother, Heuk Sudol, all right!"

I love any battle scene with Tungso, funny or not. Get a load of that axe he swings. Yikes-a-hootie, you hear that "whoosh" and it's awfully intimidating. Probably not great range or mobility, but even if you had a sword would you want to get near him with that thing? I'm sure he doesn't have to strike anybody a second time. One-and-done.
Gaepilsamun has an interesting weapon too, with the very long blade (anybody know if it has a name?). It's nice to see some different weapons, especially since even the bows and arrows aren't always around when it seems like they should be.

Tungso swings a battleax, but I have no idea what Gaepilsamun's weapon is. I leave the answer to those who are more informed than I am.

The shape of Gaepilsamun's weapon reminds me of a saber, but (obviously) it is many times too large to actually be one. I'll see what I can do about finding out what it really is.

I think that the sword is a Ssang Su Do. Ssang Su Do (쌍수도; 双手刀) This is a single edged long sword that varied from 5 to 7 feet. but I may be wrong. Wikipedia has an article on Korean Swords en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_swords Maybe this will help.
