Shekere and others, if you ever find a video of a full-length cinema release from Korea called (deep breath), "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring" watch it. I saw it at a cinema a couple of years ago. The story moves at a leisurely pace, but I was never bored. What gorgeous scenery, and what a story! .... Oh, I can vouch for that! I still think about that movie from time to time. One teensy-bit confusing thing is that the main character, who ages from young boy to older man during the movie, is played by four different actors (I did not figure it out until the day AFTER I saw it, LOL), but it's really beautiful and thoughtfully made. I rented it from Netflix. Bo

That was one of the first Korean films that I rented from Netflix. They only have 6 or 7 drama sets, but they have a wide assortment of movies. You're right Bo, I had to watch it twice to understand it entirely.

I just saw that there is to be a Korean film fest in Chicago next weekend. Details are in the 10/26 edition of the Chicago Tribune.

I like to watch DJY because it projects honest values, a sense of duty, strategy were people get it right and wrong and it's an opportunity to watch something different from the stuffff on the other channels. Ya Ya Ya KBC
