Did anyone pick up Heuk Sudol's comment about Gaepil, "He looks more stupid than I do?" ;D Dae Joyoung reminds his band that Gaepil is a "hero to his people". His band of Turkic warriors certainly showed that they are no cowards, but. . . they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. When they discovered that their treasure was gone they were dumbfounded! I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED to see Li Wen WALK away from that battle!!! I was certain that this Gaepilsamun would finish him off! Li Wen certainly has bad luck on these mountain battles with DJY. First the disgrace on Mt. Gaifu and now this latest humiliation on Mt. Madu. This Li Wen seems to be the kind of guy who never learns from his mistakes. Unlike Xue he seems unable to give his opponents any respect. This negative trait makes his character e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y unlikeable and even stupid. In fact, it borders on disbelief.

Absolutely. The whole Li Wen thing has gotten tiresome. The guy should have been dead a long time ago. You know who he's turned into? Wile E. Coyote. Always has some scheme to catch the roadrunner, but you just know he's gonna get hit with the anvil, get knocked off the cliff and freeze there for a minute, hold up the sign that says "He tricked me again!" and then crash to the ground and make a dust cloud.
Meep meep.

;D LOVE your analogy, AJK! ;D I cannot stand looking at his face anymore; I want to jab him with my chef's knife [that's because sometimes I'm chopping vegetables for the next day while I'm watching the episode] LOL. He is truly getting on my nerves and it's time to get rid of him, as in his being DEAD. It's getting to be same old same old; which is not very good for keeping up interest in a show that airs twice weekly. Time to say aneyo to Li Wen -- SOON - I hope!

Did anyone catch the interview show this afternoon with Li Wen, his wife, who seems to be a director of musical plays, his mother and father who apparently are also actors. He is more attractive with the beard and mustache, but he came off as such a devoted and loving husband and son----- totally different from his character portrayal. I didn't get the name of the show since I missed the beginning.

It was the Morning Live show that comes on every day at about 11:30. How different he is in real life, but that just tells what a good actor he is. This show often has star interviews.

Claire, I am in Chicago where Morning Live comes on at 11:30 in the morning on channel 41. I do not know when or if you would get the program in California. We have a Korean channel here that is Korean programming 24/7.
