Can they say "that" on TV?

<G> I thought the same. It's funny that words such as "d*mn" were changed to "darn," but *that* word made it as is.

You have to remember that this is taken from a cable channel. It's unlikely the FCC would notice it anyway.

Knov,
Here Channel 41 is a UHF channel, not cable, so it did take me by surprise. But when I think about it, the writers would hardly want all those hardened slave criminals to be calling it "poop" right? Kinda takes all their credibility away.
And the title of this thread should be "71". I was getting ahead of myself after reading one of JP's posts. (maybe as Moderator he can fix it?)

That's alright, Zorro. For the life of me, I can't keep this number thing straight. I think that I'll have to keep a pencil and paper at my side to jot down the episode number. Maybe it's math avoidance. hahahahahahahahahhaa ;D

I see, and that would make sense with your "ghetto theory" as well. Good point. And I don't even want to mention what it looks like is waiting in those cups DJ has to choose to drink from…

Mod note - I fixed the title, Zorro, but you can fix the title in your own {first in thread} post simply by opening up the first post you made, then changing the title! Easy, huh. LOL. This only works in the FIRST post in a thread, and you have to have been the original poster.

Thanks Bo, but let's hope I learned my lesson this time.

Thanks for the tip, Bo, I hadn't realized that either.
About that word--a couple of times I've seen PBS documentaries where it was spoken in prime time, and nobody made trouble about it. It did surprise me that PBS aired it in prime time, and I was surprised to see it spelled out in Monday's subtitle. But yeah, are those guys really going to say "poop" or "doodoo" or "boomers"? And they do run a disclaimer at the beginning, so I don't mind and I hope nobody makes any trouble about it. Especially after all those brutal murders, it's nothing. A drop in the bucket (excuse the pun!).
Even if the broadcast did come from cable originally, if it goes out over the public airwaves it's subject to regulation. But Knov1, you're probably right, I guess the FCC can't monitor everything. They have their hands full with the commercial networks.
