I have to vote Xue Rengui in a very close race over Chulin. While Chulin can widen and dart her eyes with the best of them, Xue does the head jerk, widened eyes, calls out DJ's name in disgust, and then adds that little head turn with one of his patented utterances of annoyance that cracks me up. "Yeaahhishh…" or something like that.

How do you skip Heuk Sudol in that list? If you want facial reactions from that list, then it's Xue, easily.

To clarify, the "take" comes right after some calamity/setback against Tang or Khitan. For example, in last night's episode 68, right after the skirmish with the Turks it was discovered that all the prisoners had escaped and the culprit responsible was "Dae Joyoung".
They then showed a trifecta of Xue, Li Kaigu and Chulin all doing their DJY "takes". Too funny.

Have you watched Gulsabiwu's eyes at any announcement or revelation? They seem to snap along with a subtle "bounce" of his head. It's almost a quick "bug-eye" look.

Gulsabiwu's reactions are never as dramatic as Xue's. But his reaction, if you pay close attention, is surely as you described. I chose Li Kaigu because all he ever does is SMIRK. The smirkster's reaction every conceivable shock ... is to smirk. Last night was high comedy. Wolfman snarfing down that leg. Everyone became 'blasted bastards'. Mimosa offering what looked like Mardi Gras plastic beads, Sodul is a great character. He looks so villain-like, but he's really very funny. Alexa, in another post, poses the question --- how in the world is DJY going to get out of 'another fine mess?'

Nothing beats Chulin's eyeballs. Those things start bouncing around so fast, I feel like I should be holding a lotto ticket.

None of the actors can even hold a candle to Xue Rengui. He's the best actor out of the bunch. I absolutely love all the faces and grunts he makes. Aigu, he's so loveable! Too bad he's on the Tang side.
Chulin? Well, the greatest bit of acting that she can do is her breathing routine: exhale-inhale! exhale-inhale! exhale-inhale! ;D
