Well, that was a nice and sad little ending. At least he got to spend the remainding hours of his life with the two people who he cared for the most...Wasn't Kyle supposed to get the hotel though?

Two seperate jobs kyle wanted the job of the guy who tried to commit suicide after kyle wouldn't sabotage the hotel he was the general manager. ITs like the president (general manager) and CEO(director)

The ending was somewhat disappointing to me, it seemed to leave too many unanswered questions. I did tape it and I will rewatch it to see what I may have missed. I did not realize that it was the end until it was all over.

Lots of loose ends here. His birth mom, for one thing. The father/son scenes were very lovely - good acting on both parts. it always amazes me that such a little kid can portray the emotion needed to carry off such scenes.

Well, no surprises, no miracles. Just a quiet ending for a guy who apparently spent his whole life with noone to love peacefully moving on in the presence of the two people who he came to cherish the most in his life. Very moving, I thought.
Yes, lots of loose ends, but I've sort of come to expect that in K-dramas. We, the viewers, get to fill in the blanks.
As I said elsewhere, probably the finest K-drama I've seen since Winter Lovesong/Sonata. Congratulations to all the people who made this one possible, and thanks to KBC for making it available to us.

It's kind of strange because I think a lot of people, like myself, seem to have given up on the show. I stopped watching after like episode 8 or something because this show got so boring.... At first, the very first few episodes got to me and I flet like watching the drama entirely, but then it lost its substance. This was one show among many, namely Hello God that had a good storyline, nice actors and what not and then suddenly the makes you lose interest and oh well.... It's over now, but IMO it wasn't that great.
Just getting ready for my H-Drama.

I don't remember the paper you are talking about, baees. No, wait, I do. What was that paper?
Anyway, I thought the ending was wonderful. It's so hard to end these dramas, this one was subtle and left things up to chance. Very postmodern. We don't KNOW what'll happen with all the other characters, but they've all come to a place of peace where they are. It was rather wonderful that he got to leave in the company of his son and his true love, and at least Young-in doesn't have to regret that she denied him a last night with his son and her, like she almost did when she refused to hug him at the airport. Usually K-drama endings are so tidy, but they also usually seem pretty lame. And the touch where Yun's mom has to go to a meeting--wow!--life goes on, when tremendous things happen, we're not always aware of them. I thought it was sort of jerky for the hotel chain to fire him though--perhaps he really resigned and the translation was bad. The clock stopping was a little heavy handed, but I forgive them, I liked the ending just fine.
Thanks for explaining about Kyle's job, sunshinek, I was confused by that, also.
All in all, I'd give this drama an A minus.

I thought the ending was nice too. I think that there should be a follow-up series made. Cause- what happens to Kyle?
I just got this show on dvd since I missed the first four episodes and a few in the middle. I am really enjoying seeing it from the beginning.
