I had a feeling about her when she was discovered dining in the stall of the ladies room at the New Year's party, but now I'm convinced this lady is going to be the sleeper character of the series. Actually, Padlock seemed to emerge strongly along with his newly regained vocal prowess, but the way that she so nonchalantly captured the fleeing mouse with the empty box brings to mind a great scene in Kurosawa's Yojimbo, starring Toshiro Mifune. The ronin samurai is whiling away the hours in a cottage full of fallen autumn leaves which are being gently lifted into the air by the breeze passing through the open dwelling. Armed with what appears to be a pointed trowel, Yojimbo nonchalantly throws it toward the ground effortlessly spearing a leaf with each toss. This woman has it going on.

I wonder what her role is in this show though. I like her as well!

I actually feel kind of bad for her, she seems to be afraid of her mother, and her mother is not loving at all towards her. Her mother seems to be so cold-hearted.
BUT I like her as well, it was cute how she wrote her phone number on Padlock's arm. He looked so adorable when he was looking at her and smiling. Her mom is going to have a fit if she finds out that her daughter gave her number to Padlock, especially since she is trying to hook her up with the doctor.

I really like the love story revolving around her and Padlock, it's great...she's supposed to be hooking up with the rich and successful doctor, yet she's falling for the window cleaner, who her mother, never in a million years, would let them be.

Wait, the doctor's daughter is the same person as Padlock's lady? !!! I didn't notice that! Ha-ha, stupid mean doctor lady. Your daughter loves a janitor! * *which of course, is great, but the doctor is going to be horrified, and that's all that counts.

She so deserves to be thwarted! ;D When I saw the daughter hiding in the bathroom with her dinner and glass of wine, I thought she was underage, like 16. But she's 20. Is Padlock an army vet? I can't make out the insignia on his jacket-it could be just decoration or maybe he really has accomplishments. Maybe he'll improve with this girlfriend.

I also didn't understand why the daughter was hiding in the bathroom with her food. I thought she was hiding because her mother didn't want her to eat so that she would stay thin. But now I think that maybe she just wanted to be away from her mom. I don't blame her. Has anyone noticed that the mother is Sena's mother from "Wedding".

Yes, I noticed that. I have thought maybe there was something mentally amiss with the daughter, ironically enough, but I guess not. I guess she just acts odd around her mother. I had the same thought about the food at the party, gpaul, and I think that may really be the case. I remember she was filling her plate and the mother looked at it, and her, disapprovingly. The next time we saw the girl, she was huddled in the bathroom stall with a huge plate of food, scarfing away.

I thought the disapproving look was because she was eating with her fingers, in public, at an event where her mother wanted people to be impressed with her. I didn't notice the quantity of food she had selected.
That mom is super critical. She'd better ease up or the girl won't want to be around her.
That mouse-catching trick was impressive! Wonder if she studied martial arts?

I think Padlock is so adorable. He has the cutest smile If the daughter and Padlock do end up getting serious, I hope she is strong enough to stand up to the mother. Did they ever say why Padlock didn't talk before?

Did they ever say why Padlock didn't talk before? The only thing they mentioned was that he was in jail 5 times, something like that, but that didn't really explain why he decided not to talk.

Jail? Huh? Are you reading the teacher's edition? Are you psychic or having a relationship with the writer? Whatever, I don't want to know no more! gpaul, thanks for identifying Sena's mom, I have been trying to place her face this entire time.

They mentioned that back in the 3rd episode or so, when Eun-Hye was questioning him as to why he wasn't speaking, then the grand-daughter said that...and no I'm not having a relationship with the writer....that ended a while ago.

What's sad is that the Dr. will never like HER in a million years because he's falling for Eunhye. But unlike all the vulnerable characters we see in these dramas, she actually seems to be having a bit of an option here. the good doctor (yuck! ) or padlock ?

Yeah, she doesn't seem like she's interested in the Dr. anyways.
