spoiler jinseok(sp) dies while in America ,Mr Park is Keumshil real father and as far as I know he was not the murderer nor was he involved in anyway but I believe Mr Hong was somehow involved, ok about the Hongyeon this is what happened she was caught with kyung ku(Sp) at the beach by her father then was forced to marry the doctor while kyung-Ku was sent to America and then it was found that she was carrying Kyung -Ku's baby and when her husband found out he started to beat her then she had an abortion then shortly after she attempted suicide
I'm actually guessing that the Senator's wife is the one that killed Keum-shil's mom. People don't see dead ghosts when they're not guilty, as probably said by someone in the other spoiler thread. Hong-yeon's character is so different from when she was a child that the things that are happening to her seem so unbelieveable. Her pregnancy for one thing.... It just seemed like she had it instilled in her by her parents that a child before marriage is not the way to go..... O well, I gave up on this show a while ago. It's just not the same without the stellar kid cast.

I agree with you Bae. I have thought all along that the senator's wife is the real murderer. That's why she is so uneasy and constantly praying and seeing the ghost of the man she killed. It's no surprise that the senator is Keum-shil's father and that gave the wife a logical reason to kill the mom (not that I think murder is logical lol). Speaking of the kid cast... tonight's episode of Love, Supersize Me included some flashbacks to childhood for two of the characters and the young boy was none other than the young actor that played Kyung-ku (the older boy in this drama).
I also saw that episode of 'Love? Supersize me'! I saw the part where all the school kids were outside playing ball. I saw Kyung-ku got the ball when it was about to hit Hong-yeon. Well, I shouldn't use those names since it was a different show...lol! I thought it was really nice how those two were in a different drama together.
Yeah, for the first time in quite some time, I tuned in to see the show. It was so weird hearing the kids talk without an accent, but it was nice nonetheless. I jumped up, pointed at the screen with my index finger and called to my mother to come see, "The cute kids from Golden Apple, MOM!"

In the last episode, Mr. Hong, the man who embezzled money from Mr. Park, was found guilty of the murder of KS step mother. So her father was exonerated for the murder of his wife. His children were happy about that.
Keum-shil acknowledges Mr. Park as her father, and Mr. Park's wife accepts her as his dtr.
The girl that came to Korea with Kyunku as his girlfriend, realized that Hong-yeon (?) truly loved Kyunku more than she did. Because the girlfriend just wanted to get married to Kyunku in spite of how he really felt Whereas, Hong-yeon was willing to give him up for his happiness. Even if it meant that she would lose her one true love. After realizing the true meaning of love, she left to go back to America.
Then Kyunku waited for Hong-yeon outside her school and kissed her saying that he would never leave her again.
Kyunku's younger brother, can't remember his name (?) went back with his girlfriend.
The crippled man's son, open his own noodle shop, I think, and moved into his new home with his father and sister.
Kyun-sook married Jong-ku and they both went to the orchard where the father talked to her about life. She told the father that they found the murderer, that she tried her best to raise her brothers, and that she's happy because she got married.
The final scene shows her with Jong-ku in the wheelchair, and she leans over and asks him if she can kiss him, and they do. That's the final shot.
I really enjoyed this movie, because all that I hoped would happen for the family did.
