Just for clarification, it's Arabic numerals, but Roman letters that we use.
I have a small K/E dictionary aimed at Non-Koreans which lists by Romanized alphbetically. I also have a BIG K/E dictionary aimed at Koreans, where the words are listed Hangul alphabetically. I had to make myself a chart of the order of the Jamo in order to look stuff up.
It says the same as what Lucy's teacher said.

It's Langenscheidt's Pocket dictionary. They make dictionaries for lots of lots of languages; you can tell them at a glance since they're all bright yellow with blue trim.
So just look for a yellow book between 'Japanese' and 'Latin'.
