Poor Andrea, Eunha left him. Even after he told her "I want to be at your wedding, at your child's wedding, by your side at your deathbed, as your man." Ah such beautiful words. I knew she was going to do something like this. My heart broke when Andrea walked into Eunha's apartment to find her gone. OMG, his face, the poor guy, he just looked so sad First he is abandoned by his mother, then after he comes to his senses and wants to be with Eunha, she leaves him too. How horrible. I can understand Eunha wanting to leave because she doesn't want to tell him anything, but in the end she's hurting him more by running away and not telling him the truth. And then Woojin puts the blame on Andrea, whats up with that? Andrea gets the blame for everything, he is probably emotionally scarred for life. Especially now that Woojin's dad confessed to being involved in the murder of Jinsoo (though he didn't actually kill him, he gave up the location of where he was hiding). I really hope that Andrea finds out the truth about why Eunha left. I swear my heart was just racing through the whole episode. I can't get over how sad it was to see Andrea standing there, devastated I think of all the K-dramas I've watched this has been the most emotional. Oh and what was wrong with all the people from the church talking crap about Andrea? Its not like the man was a priest! Whats the big deal? At least he realized his love for Eunha before actually being ordained. Why couldn't the people be more understanding?

I want to kick and scream. If I were Eunha I'd want to make the most of my time, I'd get the surgery and prolong my life the most that I could next to the man I've loved for so many years.
Did you see poor Andrea's face when Woojin told him that she left because of him? It was like his mind couldn't accept that fact, because all of his life, everything tragic that's happened to him has been "his fault."
You need to fly over to Korea, Alexa and comfort your man.

I don't understand Eunha's reasoning. All her life, all she's wanted is to be with Andrea and love him freely. To me, this is not a noble sacrifice but something that doesn't make any sense. If her place is with Andrea, then she should share with him what she's going through and let him be with her.
If it were really and truly possible for her to disappear and have him forget her, then I could understand. After all, he's giving up the priesthood for her, and if she dies in 3 months, then he's changed his life for nothing and can't go back to his vocation (which was pretty strong even though he loved Eunha). But the reality is that he's made his choice and he is not going to forget her just because she has run away. Neither is Woojin. All she has done is cause more pain and confusion! Why do people in the dramas do things like this?

That's all I can say: I don't understand her, I don't understand her. I feel like the one who has suffered the most is Andrea. How could she have promised him that she wouldn't leave and then she left. Which brings me to another point. Andrea opened up to her and let her into a new, volunerable side of his. He's already said he has issued with abandonement because of his mom. And if you notice he asks her like 3 times to make sure not to run away, that he loves her, that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her so please wait for him AND SHE RUNS AWAY!

Even though he's made his decision, he was advised by the bishop to go to the abbey for a month so he could do some deep thinking and make sure that this is what he really wants and that he is acting in accordance to God's will. He agrees and then asks Eunha to wait for him, after all they've waited years, what's one more month (of course he doesn't know that if Eunha doesn't get the surgery she only has a couple of months to live). Then he says that he wants to grow old with her and if she'll marry him once he gets back from the abbey. She says "Till death do us part".

I can't wait to see what happens more with Woojin's dad asking Andrea for forgivness. I thought steam was going to come out of andrea's ears. He was shaking he was so angry. And he was tortured. When he told his wife he said it was not just the torture but he hated Jinsoo and snitched on him. Even though he didn't want to see him killed what did he expect?

I thought steam was going to come out of andrea's ears. He was shaking he was so angry. Andrea is such a wonderful actor. This scene was really good because you just expect him to say "What, you killed my dad, and it's my fault? Okay it's my fault. I'll go retire to my room now" but no, this is the last straw. The woman he loves is gone, it seems like God is punishing him and he has no room in his heart for forgiveness. Just now I am struck at how similar father and son are. Woojin's dad expected Andrea to forgive him really easily, Woojin also expects that from Andrea.

Woojin is becomeing like his dad due to exposure. If his stupid dad accepted Andrea into the family in the beginning like Woojin asked at least this part of the family would be held together a bit more. The love triangle is just getting too absurd for me. I'm glad I picked a short modern drama. I need to stick to historical dramas.

Why do people in the dramas do things like this? I have no idea but they do seem to do this alot in these dramas. Drives me crazy!!!!!!!! After all Andrea told Eunha, she leaves. How could she do that? Like I said the poor man is probably scarred for life. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry

Well I don't know, I thought it was a good show. I mean I think about it and the first time I saw it I was completley enraptured by it. I agree though that if Woojin's dad wanted the mom, the least he could have done was to accept her son too. But then I also blame her because I can't believe she would leave her defenseless baby with just any ol' person.

Well in her defense (loosley) it was a relative and wasn't his aunt (the nasty beating one) his father's sister? If so you would expect her to be as kind as the brother? We'll see what the next drama is (Wife?). If there is nothing else on when the new network shows start...... I have a few shows on the networks that I am hooked on.

{SHUDDER} No, Chigirl, if it is "Wife", don't watch it. You won't like it, I can almost guarantee. Anyone disagree? It is one of only two Korean shows I ever stopped watching after sticking with it for a while. (Bodyguard was the other.) And no one else should mention the name of that show in case someone at Channel 28 is reading this--don't give them any ideas!

I'll trust your judgement Lucy. I read in the General forum Soju posted that Wife would air in place of Love Letter. I'm not suer if this was advertised or if he called the station and got that info. We'll see what happens.
