(if this is old...i haven't been watching all my ms episodes....XD)....and i hope inchul and mijung get together. i like that coupling better...^_^ sorry to others who object

What's so bad about a surrogate mother? Let In-young rest 6 months, if she isn't pregnant yet, find a surrogate, implant one of In young and Ki-joon's embryos, or three, and cross your fingers. and don't let Screech mom near the woman. So long as the woman isn't forced, I don't see a problem. Another yikes! In-young asked Ki-joon for a divorce!?! I thought it would be a much longer time.

I have a feeling that if Ki-joon had taken In-young to live far away from SM in their own place, if In-young were allowed to have a career, In-young would have gotten pregnant on her own terms. Poor In-young doesn't have any life in that house except to make repeated attempts to get pregnant. Her MIL doesn't care about how it's affecting her DIL except that she'll do anything to have a grandchild. Even if In-young had a daughter, instead of a son, she'd still be harping on her to produce a male child.
Since In-young sees no hope, I can understand her asking Ki-joon for a divorce. It wasn't a surprise because the only way her SMIL will be happy is when she produces a male child because a female won't do either. Maybe it's better if Ki-joon marries a woman who can give him a few children, but happily stay at home to care for the family.
Maybe Hee-joo will eventually fit into this picture? What about the yearning looks between In-young and Jae-min?

SMIL? Screechy Mother in Law? Stupid Mother in Law? It is to laugh, Sandy.
I completely agree with what you say. And maybe it seems like a "short" time for us because they did that flash forward, but if you (meaning any of us) were living in a home for two years where you were daily forced to eat and exercise and take medicine according to MIL's orders because your only value was as a brood mare, well, I think you'd find that the longest two years of your life stretching into a virtual eternity. I think In-young gave it a good fight. She's probably simply exhausted, her husband is not making any effort to improve the situation, and it's not going to get better.

She gave it all that she had. She tried the treatments not only for herself and her husband, but for her MIL, as well; which was a wonderfully considerate and thoughful thing to do. However, I can't say that KJ didn't try to make the situation better. He told IY to stop the treatment long ago and she wouldn't listen because she kept running around trying to please everybody but herself. Then, HE was the one to encourage her to quit in vitro. So, he's been overall, to me, a good husband. It'll be sad seeing him get ripped apart completely if the divorce folows through.

I just think he should have moved out long ago, and he doesn't seem to be very effective--which is not the same as not TRYING. But still, after all she's gone through, I can see IY just saying, "Quits." Bo

Ginnycat, the crying icon is the last one in the row above the text-entry box when you are on the regular "Reply" screen. There are no icons available in the "Quick reply" screen, but you can go back and add them later by clicking "Modify" on your original message, if you were logged in when you first posted it. I hope you don't mind my adding some crying faces to your message above.

Thanks, Lucy. I clicked on the last icon, nothing happened but a blue box around it. So I constructed one with a colon, and apostrophe, and a frowny parenthesis.(If I want any kind of face, I construct it, but don't know all the parts.)

That was a good substitute, ginny! You're clever. I see you succeeded after all, though!

I hope they end up together but man do kj makes me angry >:(he sometimes deserves what happens to him. Maybe at the end he'll stop following mommy's tail coat and pull up his pants and get some guts and teaches her a lesson. This drama cannot finish without Sm getting a lesson. ;D

Ki-joon and In-young were the perfect couple. Everyone wanted to see them together. But when they were together, it was chaos due to his crazy mother and his lack of sensitivity to his wife and also his lack of courage to stand up to his mother. With Jae-min and In-young, it should be something exciting to watch. I wonder how their relationship will be like. I don't know if KJ and IY will be together at the end, but it would be nice since they wanted to get married and were so inlove in the beginning.
