Hee-joo is demanding marriage from Ki-joon! I think Ki-joon should marry Hee-joo rather than have his mom pick his new wife from the blind dates pile. Yeah, I think it's a win-win situation...his mom will get the daugther-in-law that she's always wanted, Hee-joo will get the guy that she's always wanted, and Ki-joon...well...Hee-joo's teeth are really white right?

Wouldn't you just LOVE to be the bride that the mom picks out and the husband doesn't give a d--- about? Yes, every girl wants to be the vessel that carries the grandchildren and nothing more. Sheesh. He might as well marry Hee-joo; at least he won't be ruining her life.

Did you see the previews? Hee Joo's back in despairing mood, jumping into the river. They kept cutting from one person to another, asking, are you serious? (I guess, about marriage between KJ and HJ.) HJ has been so reasonable lately, protecting KJ from this mother and seeing if IY minds her marrying KJ. Very sensitive and sincere, I thought. I'm liking her now.

I think that Hee-joo should go away with Sun-me for a long weekend of drinking and debauchery and she should develop a sense of self that doesn't have to rely on a man for happiness. On one hand, she is so successful with her gallery but her personal life is such a mess and she mopes around like a lost lamb chasing after KJ and his mother. Her mother seems to be very wise....too bad HJ doesn't listen to her advice. It's getting depressing with so many sad characters hiding their feelings and playing mind games with each other. Does JaeMin really want this type of person as a mother for HimChan? It's getting harder and harder to watch this show, but the spoiler thread is wonderful. There is a link there now with "hot" pictures of JaeMIn that really made my day, thanks to Lucy!!!

She looks like she's been focused on her gallery and satisfied with her work. Before when she was obsessed with KiJoon, she had a haunted sneaky anguished look, but now she seems off-hand in her response to seeking a husband, neither antsy about getting one nor rebellious towards her parents for pushing her. (Of course if [as it looked in the previews] she really jumps in the river over KJ, that will prove me wrong.)

Ginnykat, did you see the show tonight??? That's what prompted me to write. She WAS making such progress and now she's back to square one, a clingy little pest, always springing up here and there. After KJ says he won't marry her, end of discussion, she marches over to MIL's house...yuck! This is what girlfriends are for! Someone needs to whack her in the head with one of her paintings and knock some sense into her!

I was reading about the actress who plays HJ on the koreanwiz site tonight. She was saying that she didn't want to take that part at first because she thought people would hate her for going after someone else's husband! So I guess she's a pretty good actress!

Whatever happened to that NY playboy boyfriend of Hee-joo's? I thought they were pretty close. The last time the show mentioned him was when he was going to see a movie by himself because Hee-joo was too busy with her work.

He probably stayed in Korea when she left the country, and they lost touch with each other while she was gone.
They didn't seem to be that close, anyway.

I guess we're back to first base with Hee-joo again being infatuated with Ki-joon who has repeatedly told her that he's not interested. HJ has everything going for her. She's matured a lot, has a new gallery so why would she want to marry a man whose mother makes all his decisions? Does HJ think that "Mother" will be happy when she spends time at her gallery instead of serving her and producing babies? It would be another disaster for KJ.

Hee-joo tried her best to move on with her life. She went back to the US, finished ehr education, found a "boyfriend," became mature, and opened an art gallery. She even went on blind dates, but like she told In-young, "I found that no man is better than Ki-joon.....I found myself thinking about Ki-joon again." Hee-joo is still obsessed with marrying Ki-joon.

Wow, what can i say about Hee-joo, other than, she is going down hill. She wants to marry a man that is in love with his exwife, who will never love her the way she wants him to, and....she is fine with that? what is wrong with her. Girls like that give females in general a bad rap. It's apparent that Hee-joo wants to play the "mother' role because she seems to want to take care of Kijoon. She needs to wake up to reality and realize she's not his mother.

Ki-joon, who hasn't gotten over his pain of losing In-young, is another one that I can't understand. So he decides to let his mom run his life and gives in to remarrying so he can give his mother a grandchild. I guess Hee-joo knows that Ki-joon will never love her the way she wants, but is totally fine with it. She just wants to be his wife.

I think Hee-joo must be accompanying Omanim to the hairdresser, don't you? 'Cuz she's shure got that ol'lady hair...Skare-ree. Maybe the "permanent wave" fumes are affecting her brain. Bo
