I haven't learned all their names either. But I looked up the show info online and Lee Chang-hoon (OMR's Min-jae) plays the role of Jung Jae-min while Kim Seong-soo (OMR's Hyung-kyu) plays the role of Kim Ki-jun or is it spelled Ki-joon? I like the show so far. What I don't like is that annoying Hee-joo...the one who just kissed Ki-jun like that. But Ki-jun's mother (another annoying one) seems to love her.

They're setting up another "love crisis"--she's the handpicked DIL but Hyun-kyu (we'll learn their names soon) doesn't love her. He's going to go for whoever that was who knocked his mother down in the first episode. [I'm pretty sure it was the girl with the sick grandfather.] Can anyone doubt it? When you have two women saying, "I pity whoever becomes your MIL/DIL," it's sure as shootin' they're unwittingly talking about their future selves.

i already like this little love triangle. but the guys mother with the too much makeup and sassy maid is soooo annoying. her voice shoots through my head like a nail.

That's no maid, it's the mother's sister (I think).
I made myself a character chart, but I have to go back and make the pictures bigger, and add the characters that aren't on KBS's page for the show, like Ki-joon's sister and the guy who worked in the messenger office in YH . . .

I just started watching this drama, but it seems that Hee-joo is another very problematic chararcter, kind of controlling. It seems that her boyfriend doesn't seem very interested in her, even though they've been together for a few years. His mother seems even more controlling in that she want's his girlfriend to become a DIL. It seems that Hee-joo's mother is very well-educated and wealthy.
There's another family situation that has the grandfather in the hospital. What's that about?

Wow! I think I'm going to start watching again. I just read a summary on KBS's website about this drama and it sounds like it's going to get interesting. KBS Don't go to the site if you don't want possible spoilers. Oh....does that mean this belongs in the spoiler thread?

I taped and just watched the first four episodes. Ki-Joon definitely needs a new hair sytlist However, Jae-Min (OMR's Min-Jae - wow they just reversed it!) can do whatever he wants and still look like a million bucks. The guy just has class and style! In-Chul seems okay - like he's trying now to escape a 'bad boy' image but is still somewhat of a screw up andit may come back to haunt him. I wonder if the writers will make the running-after-bus-girl (don't know her name) pregnant to somehow ******Spoiler removed******* As for In-Young I think she is pretty, though her voice seems lacking in emption sometimes. Now, the youngest, In-Kyung - she is so cute - one of the cutest ladies I have ever seen on a Korean Drama. She has such a delightful smile - it actually made me smile watchingher. I don't go to much for the pouty looks as most 16 year olds don't do that as a matter of course, but rather for effect. Her character seems a little too child-like - but she is still cute as a button! I am still waiting to see with this one, so far so good and certainly a far sight better than MPC on the realism factor. Now if Ki-Joon's mother could turn it down a bit - too much the fingernails on chalkboard voice! eeeeoooowwwwww! Thta hurts after a bit. Say, did anyone notice - when Ki-Joon is with his mother or the so-called girlfriend most of his lines are questions? Yet when he is with In-Young they actually have the characters converse! Just an observation - it seems Ki-Joon doesn;t want to or doesn't have the courage to come right out and tell Hee-Joo or mom "no" And if it isn't no, then he'splaying games! Liz

that wassent her maid? why do she treat her sister like that? i was wondering why the maid can say whatever comes to her mind. and whats up with her (the rich lady) not wanting to talk about her past? she must have been poor and now she's ashamed to talk about it. sandy, the situation with the grandfather (i think) was that he was in the u.s for 10 years but came home because he was sick. his son in law found out and stuff. i think the grandfather left korea because his daughter had died which for some reason he think is the youngest grand childs fault (the teenager) but the father also blame himself so i dont know how the mom died. p.s this is confusing seeing i dont know any names yet

OOPS...so sorry.... :-[my bad - I thought you guys were always ahead of us and then with the 'restructuring' during MPC we were on the same broadcast schedule. Today is Friday - so what episode will be seen in Chicago tonight? Here in the Philly area it should be #5. I apologize if I have given something up. Pay no attention to this person in the corner! We'll be on episode 4 tonight. Our last ep of MPC was on Monday, and Sweetheart started Tuesday. So, yeah, it was a spoiler, but we were going to find out about it tonight anyway. It's not as though you telegraphed something that was far in the future.
Just don't let it happen again;) , or we will come after you and send you out to sea adrift on a turtle boat!

did anyone kind of notice this weird history thing going on between KI-joon's and In-young's moms? i mean, why would ki-joon's mom want to cover up their past friendship? and after tonight's episode, i think that Him-Chan's mom is really in pain. she said that she would come out of her grave to haunt him-chan's dad if he remarried after she passes away..... scary and sad at the same time....

I also sense that there might be a secret that Mrs. Cho knows. When Ki-jun kept telling him mom about In-young, she would get irritated. She just yells, "Why are you bringing up the past?!" and changes the subject quickly.
