Well, I think that the first episode was interesting. Especially that poor girl running after that guy. I felt sorry for her and that made me kind of not get a good feeling from the young guy that got release from his military duty.
Hyunkyu, I must not like the actor because I still kept rolling my eyes whenever he came on. But I think his acting capability is better though. I wonder if he'll be terribly cheesy. When my brother say that he was acting in this one he's just like "that loser again?".
And an elementary school reunion? I've never heard of that. Why were there so little people then?

I don't like the Hyun-kyu actor, either. I don't find him all that pleasant to look at. I was wondering where Min-jae was, so I was glad to see him come running up at the very last second. I have heard of elementary school reunions here in the US, but not very frequently. Maybe there were so few people because no one cares about it in Korea, either. Yes, that was pretty bad the way the soldier boy (In-chul?) blew off that girl. Obviously they had slept together, which is so unusual in the Korean dramas that it adds a sleazy note to things. She comes off like a "camp follower" and he, like a creep. Hey, question: we've seen these guys in compulsory military service in the dramas before--Min-jae in a flashback, for example--and there's that entertainment show for the troops that used to be on late at night. I'm wondering if most of them tend to be sent to the demilitarized zone (N/S Korea border). It would be interesting to have that female character live near the DMZ; maybe we would learn something about life in that region.

First episode looked good. I liked the scene where Ki-jun (OMR's Hyung-ku's character) poked his finger at In-young's cheek and the childhood memory of him doing that to her followed....er, it was a pencil in the childhood days though. I thought it was cute. I didn't like how In-chul ran away from that girl though. It was supposed to be a funny thing, but I don't think so. I found it to be terrible. He slept with her and then ran off like that? What the heck? Oh well, I guess it's like that nowadays, but I don't like it.

I guess I'm the only one that's not terribly impressed with the drama. I've actually missed the last three episodes (saw just bits and pieces) and don't really plan on getting hooked on this one. Unfortunately, MPC has probably ruined me on daily dramas for a while. This one hasn't really grabbed my attention at all. Me, too. I thought he looked very "puffy" and not easy on the eyes. I kept tilting my head watching him wondering why he looked so weird. Oh, well, there are other shows on - where plenty of eye candy is available! (Super Rookie, for one. See my post in the other dramas section! ;D )

Hyun- kyu and Ki-joon are characters.
Kim Sung-soo is the actor that plays them.

I guess I'm the only one that's not terribly impressed with the drama. No, you're not. I'm bored already, but I know it takes a while for me to latch onto the characters and get interested in what they're doing. When these dramas start out, they seem to have been going on for a while and we're just stepping into the stream; they don't usually start out with a "bang" that grabs you right off, if I can mix my metaphors there. Oh, well, there are other shows on - where plenty of eye candy is available! (Super Rookie, for one. See my post in the other dramas section! ;D ) Dang, xelaevoli, I'm a bit jealous of your choices. We have to learn to love whatever's on or learn to do without entirely.

the first episode was interesting. i still have to get used to everyone's name though. i like that its more "down to earth" than MPC was. i hope it turns out to be a good drama.

Teee, heeee, heeeeee....they're little because it's an elementary school, silly! HAAAAH, haaah, haaaaaa... Bo ROFL Aiguu! you must be hanging out with cornball Eric. Anywho, Minjae (I can't remember his character's name) always ends up playing a sympathetic character. His wife is dying of cancer. She seems to have been a ballerina of some short (I'm just guessing by what I saw on his laptop screen). His son is only a baby, that's sad. I'm curious as to why the main girl's--Inyoon (sp?)--mom died. Why would they blame the younger sister or the father? p.s. shallow moment--is it me or are the people in this drama not terribly attractive? p.s.s. has anybody heard from hachiue? I wonder if she's on her honeymoon or if she is still doing some wedding preparations.

Why would they blame the younger sister or the father? p.s. shallow moment--is it me or are the people in this drama not terribly attractive? Is Min-jae's wife really dying, or is she just feeling really hopeless right now? He is so cute, mostly because of his eyes, which are very black and easily look sad and hurt. Poor kid. I hope his ballerina wife makes it. That's some cute baby, BTW! I hope he doesn't grow up to be played by "Ji-woong"! No, I agree, the hotness quotient on this show is relatively low, though caddish In-chul is rather handsome in a girlish kind of way. Even Jin-kook was more masculine! (I miss Jin-kook.) However, once we know the characters, they may start to look better to us. A few weeks ago, when WML started, I thought all the men were funny-looking, especially Sang-hyuk, but now even he is looking OK to me. The women on "My Sweetheart" (also translated as "My Sweetheart, My Darling") are mostly pretty, I think, though frankly they all look alike to me at this point.

Aiguu! you must be hanging out with cornball Eric.... Are you kidding? Cornball Eric's got nothing on me, heee haw. I'm just jumping up and down here wanting to see this show; I've got it taped; I'm just not that far on the viewing yet (it's sandwiched between eps of WML and YSS, and I haven't even finished the last ep of MPC). Too much Hyun-kyu, not enough Min-jae. (I haven't learned their new names yet.) The Min-jae storyline looks really interesting, though! He makes a cute daddy. Hyun-kyu definitely looks bloated in this drama. And it is a homely cast IMO, with the exception of Lee Chang Hoon of course. The randy army brother is even too pretty for me. (That hair! -- too much effort) I'll watch whatever they air at 6:00, no matter what. It's been that way for 7 years.
