Do you remember the drama, "Dawn of the pupil"(? ) starring park sang-won and chae she-ra? That was a popular drama about the Japanese occupation. I think it was based on a series from a best-selling author. It remember it being very melodramatic and thought provoking.

Yes, I do. I also read the novel about 15 years ago. The drama was made by the writer and the director who made Moreshige(Hourglass) later.
