It's warning for people that there is information in a thread or a post about what happened on the show. If they view the thread they will read about plot developments that they might want to see for themselves before they read about them.

In my opinion, the best way to help people avoid spoilers is to post the episode # somewhere in the title, and to be very vague so that only people who watched the episode would understand
Good example: Nalbal's hard choice (ep. 204)
The bad example would be: Why did Nalbal kill Admiral Yi?
a somewhat bad example would be: Nalbal's cool martial arts move in tonight's episode
The reason why it's somewhat bad is that, in this case, Nalbal would have had so many opportunities for such a thing that the poster might be talking about some kind of surprise move that the viewer wouldn';t have seen coming. i would hate to learn about that ahead of time!
Some of the more general things can be discussed more freely, such as noting historical facts like Admiral Yi winning 23 out of 23 battles, etc.
Make sense?
