Bear with me here....I claim almost complete knowledge of notrhing when it comes to IYSS..........The way it has flashed back to his youth (which I really enjoy) lads me to presume he dies early and has to win wars from heaven.thus the "immortal" one..........Am I right or even close maYBE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...

The first eps show the last days of the Yimjin war. Indeed, Yi was shot by a stray bullet at the battle of Noryang, the last battle of the war.
I think the whole series is sort of a flashback.

The first 4 episodes are the end of the war with Japan. In the 4th episode YSS gets shot with an arrow, and he falls to the floor, closes his eyes, when he opens them his a young boy. So they flashback to his youth, adulthood, to how he became Commander of the Left Cholla Navy and to his battles.
So basically the show started at the end, but then went to the beginning.

But Betz, how could you *not* have seen the fourth episode yet? I thought it started in Philly a few weeks ago. He's dead! He's dead!
I don't think the subject line is a spoiler because it's a Chicago board and we're long past Episode 4.
