OK--- Did anybody NOT get teary-eyed watching Yi Soon Shin bravely having the bullet removed from his shoulder? What a scene!!! Just watching how worried and caring his loyal men were was just heart-breaking to me! This drama just keeps getting better & better....

Yeah...and it was also nice to see that some of the Japanese finally got the "point" about the Turtle Ship. But I must say, the sound effect that they used for Soon Shin's wound being cauterized was very interesting (it sounded like something being slowly deep fried).
Very good episode.

teary eyed...you bet. also reacted as if I were seeing that wound in person ... up close and personal. One must remember that these are actors... very VERY good actors because you're transported right there on the ship with them. ... and that sizzzzzzling sound... like a branding iron. I swear you could almost experience what our lovely Admiral was feeling. There I am ... sitting on my couch saying YIKES.... YIKES... ... and how about that little wooden toy from the dad who knew he would never see his baby son.

Paky, that's Episode 70. I guess it would be better you open "Episode 70 spoiler thread" if you want to converse with others on those subjects. Otherwise Moderators will chase you. This advice comes from my personal experience.

Bo, you've never censored me. ;D
But I felt sometimes you were not happy when I referred to a specific episode number related to a certain subject. ;D

Just watching how worried and caring his loyal men were was just heart-breaking to me! I almost cried as I watched YSS get that bullet remove. Man it was so awesome the way he took the pain, I would've passed out. And it was so cool to see the guy who took the bullet out (what the heck is his name) be so worried when he realized that YSS had been shot. I think he truly cares for and admires YSS now, and has completely changed his attitude towards YSS from the way it was before. I think I'm started to like that guy, cause he would get on my nerves always question YSS and siding with Commander Won.

I agree with you, Alexa. ------I'm so glad the bullet-remover (not sure of his name, either) has finally started to respect and care about Yi Soon Shin now. Better late than never! I now like Bullet-Remover's character very much (before I was pretty thumbs-down on him). (The nicer he gets, the better looking he is, too )

The man who removed the bullet is Jung Wun, the captain of Nokdo. I already posted these pics on the "The Battle of Sacheon" thread, but... Admira Yi Sun-shin had a bullet wound in the shoulder. Captain Jung Wun dressed his wound, smiling at his joke. Kurujima Michiyuki was shot to death by the Constable Kwon Jun's arrow.

i think our subtitles have spelled as "Chung" rather than "Jung"...but nevertheless...it's good to see him respect High COmmander Yi
