I found these paintings posted at allempires.com at this thread posted by an Aussie girl. Thought it might interest everyone on this board: The Samurai with the cone helmet is probably Kato Kiyomosa battling it out with Chosun and Ming Chinese cavalry. (That Ashigaru soldier behind Kato Kiyomasa should get knocked up side his head for dropping his arquebusier rifle. The rifle should be a part of his body.) sourceBattle of Haengju Sansung Death of Yi Soon Shin They have a picture of the Turtleboat in that thread as well as an early Chinese gun from the Yuan Dynasty. Check it out!

Unfortunately the first picture might be fantasy, because Chinise troops never win the Japanese troops since the battle of Pyong-yang castle, it was their last victroy, After that they fought almost 100s of times but never win.. that's true. Those kind of scene happe when chinese troops run away. When they run for cover they were the most brave warrior in the world. Ah I forgot one thing also ming soldiers were very brave when they kill, steal and rape the people of Chosun. Some good ming soldiers help and rescue Chosun people. However those kind of thind didn't happen so much.
