Did anybody see what Constable Kwon was wearing yesterday? He had like a statue of a small animal on top of both of his shoulders. I have never seen something like that.

I kept trying to figure out what it was. It could've been a tiger, now that I think about it. I wonder why he was the only one that had that on.

I've seen that on other characters before, maybe not on this drama, though. Maybe it's like personal gargoyles, a Chosun fashion statement.

You mean the bronze shoulder thingies on the armor? I'm guessing those are meant to stop overhead sword blows to the shoulder that would otherwise result in shattered bones or a severed limb. And they look cool too.

And they look cool too. Yeah, I heard that somehwhere too. But Constable Kwon wasn't the only one with those "decorations" on his armor. I think everyone had them (in the drama). |

The only person I've seen so far with those bronze miniature figures on their shoulders was Constable Kwon.

Alexa, I guess Constable Kwon is the only person to whom you gave attention. ;D I also like Constable Kwon. He is sweet ! ;D This is a picture of Left Cholla Navy members, posted by Choko on other thread. You can see everyone having their own miniatures except YSS who doesn't wear his armor. I like how Constable Kwan speaks in almost a whisper as he approaches Yi Soon-shin, and how he softly says yes to a command. It comes from his genuine thoughtfulness, I believe.  |

lol kim wan has such a goofy pose in that pic. I think the other Yi Soon Shin is a tough guy ;P (of course, so is the admiral).
