Kim Myoung-min debuted in 1996, and had been an unknown actor for about 9 years.
Hard times made him go so far as to consider emigrating to New Zealand.
However, he started to attract public attention with KBS drama "More Beautiful than flowers" which led him to be chosen as Admiral Yi Sun-shin.
His acting has been favorably commented as a good embodiment of Admiral YSS.
