BASED ON THE FORUM IN YSS TANGENTS, IT IMFORMS ME THAT ACTOR KIM MYUNG MIN'S ONLY SON DIED OF LEUKEMIA. OH MY GOODNESS. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

It's not Kim Myoung-min(YSS) but Kim Myoung-guk who lost his 9-year-old son last February. Actor Kim Myoung-guk is playing the role of YSS's aide, Lieutenant Song Hi-rip.

Hot tempered General Che Won from Age of Warriors? I'm very sorry to hear that. A kid should never die before the parent especially if they're the only child!

Today(May 5th) is "Children's day" in South Korea, and SBS TV showed a special program about Actor Kim Myoung-min(YSS) this morning. In the show, I watched Kim Myoung-guk(Lt. Song) go to the birthday party of YSS' s 1-year-old son and pat the baby on the head. I almost cried because he looked sad. He must have reminded the baby of his lost son.

Yes, that is so sad to hear about our "Che Won." In the picture his son looks so cute.
I was glad to hear that Kim Myung-min (YSS) has a little boy. How nice.

It's not Kim Myoung-min(YSS) but Kim Myoung-guk who lost his 9-year-old son last February. I think you mean February of this year, right? You know a few weeks ago I saw footage of the funeral for Kim Myoung-guk's son without knowing that it was him, but now that I see this picture above that Choko posted I recognize him. It was on the KBS entertainment news show that broadcasts in Hawaii without subtitles (and on a 2 month delay for some reason). From what I gathered it was an older celebrity who was helping out a terminally ill kid, but I had no idea it was father and son. Before the funeral footage they showed KMG kneeling down with his son in a wheelchair trying to give words of encouragement. But you could tell that both of them knew that they had to prepare for the worst 'cause both were in tears. And the funeral itself obviously was very sad. I am a little shocked that the presss are allowed so much access at a funeral...I would think most Americans would find it a bit intrusive. There was one part where the hearse drove away and KMG was just standing there totally in tears and the camera is right in his face! But it's a regular thing that I see on these shows so I guess it's allowed. My condolences to him and his family...

This is so sad That has to be one of the hardest things in this life, a parent losing a child.
