I can't emphasize the beauty of this episode. I know it was tragic in part, but it really captured the conflicts, and the camera work was inspired. I hadn't grasped the genius of these people.

It was shocking to me that the Turtle Ship Debut was a complete flaw. What went wrong?

I agree with you, MasterCrabby. Ep. 63 was really beautiful. Even though some Koreans hate the episode of sinking turtle ship---they say "There is no historical document about sinking turtle ship" and blame the KBS staff for creating fictional events--- I really like the way this drama deals with the conflicts among the generals. I think the harmony of the Left Cholla Navy are beautifully described in ep. 63. I love it.

Episode after Episode, Hour after Hour, I watched them build the damn thing. Only for it to sink. KBS better come up with something good soon.

I can't emphasize the beauty of this episode. I agree. I have been enjoying the past few episodes very much, seeing the Left Cholla Navy working together, become better organized and stronger. I like their comraderie. p.s. I almost cried when I saw those joyful tears in Lt. Na's eyes while he stood watching the launching of his turtle ship

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED? !!! THE SHIP SANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I felt horrible. So everybody is there by the beach, looking at this magnificient ship, YSS is looking proud, and so is the guy that came up w/the idea (can't remember his name) next thing you know, the darn thing goes down. I almost cried when the designer/builder screamed out NO!!! I can't imagine how YSS must've felt as his pride and joy goes under, and everybody else is there watching along with him. I have a feeling Commander Won is going to be happy about this, proving his point that they need to have a strong cavalry. I love Constable Kwon ;D. He is a man with a great heart who truly cares about the people of Chosun, and about the soldiers. I love how he always speaks the truth and is by YSS side, giving him advice and just being there for him. Though I think he is a sweet man with a caring heart, I know that he is a warrior and I can't wait to see him in action and actually see him in some fighting scenes. I hope they show all of them fighting, especially the funny commander (can't remember his name)

Oh my, me too. It was heartrending. ah it's nice to know I wasn't the only one w/tears in my eyes. First, I was so emotional when the Turtle Ship went on the water, then it sank, oh I think I screamed. My mom & sister probably think I'm crazy ;D

I did not watch this episode last night because of all the fuzzy stuff happening with ch. 28 during the show. The station went out 4 times for 5 min each. I gave up and I'll watch the rebroadcast Sat night.

Yi Young Nam was amazing in Ep.4. SPOILER IF YOU DIDN"T SEE THE FIRST FOUR EPISODES AND WANT TO WAIT FOR THE END: He was great when he and his crew boarded Wakizaka's ship, and they all died. Young-Nam killed Wakizaka's men, but was defeated in a fight with Wakizaka himself. Rather than wait for his head to fall off, he ran up in an emotional moment, and stabbed Wakizaka with a broken sword. You see Wakizaka's sword going through Young-Nam's body, as both are thrown off the ship. Great to see him taking an enemy commander with him to his watery grave.

I know, I'm with you all on this . It was heart-wrenching to see the Turtle Ship starting to go down. After all that they have gone through to get it built, I actually felt a little sick to my stomach too. ("Oh, no, this can't be happening!") Can't believe we have to wait until next Monday night to see the next episode. I really hope that somehow there will be some survivors
