Oh yeah, I thought that all the guys were going to fight the King's men so they wouldn't take YSS away. It looked like they were almost ready, with their hands on their swords, but then they moved and made way for the soldiers to come in. That was so sad, I mean these men were willing to die for YSS, yet they obeyed his order never to lift up the sword against one of their own. YSS was such a great man, he was right we should never lift up swords against our own people, yet how many countries are destroyed by civil wars as they kill each other? I think I did cry when they took YSS away and the people were on the side of the road crying.
and okay I understand the King was paranoid about YSS taking over, but come on if he really wanted to take over would he had turned himself in and endured all that torture? If he wanted to overthrow him, he would've killed the guys that went to arrest him and made his way to the palace. Seriously, in my opinion the King wasn't really thinking. What is just so amazing to me is that YSS overcomes all of this, and never really holds any anger towards the king. I'm sure he was emotionally wounded that he wasn't trusted, but the thought of actually overthrowing the king never crossed his mind. All YSS had in mind was protecting his country. I just love that man, I wish they would've taught us about him in school.

I wonder if YSS, after enduring this horrendous treatment, was tempted to do as his father did --"Alright, think I'll just work a plot of land and keep to my own." Apparently, there is nothing one can do to demonstrate their loyalty to this king short of dying!

yeah the King was super paranoid, but I imagine that's how most Kings were. Which makes you wonder, were they really happy being Kings? In most of the historical dramas that I've watched, the Kings never really had any friends because they couldn't trust anybody, and everybody was a potential backstabber. Their lives must've been so sad. Even the relationships with their wives, didn't seem like it was all that great.

Just watched episode 92 when all the men and the turtle boat was lost.I really felt bad for Won Kyun for the first time in the whole show! What got me was when he said he wanted to be Yss's friend again. That was so sad.And when the holy archer and the shipbuilder died, man what a big loss all of that was to the Left Cholla navy.It didn't show what happened to Kim Wan,I hope he is okay. It was a good thing that one commander got away with the ships that he had.Wonder what will happen tomorrow night.

:)Thank you for the info, there was really alot there and I read every bit!Just watched where YSS is reinstated and gets some of his men back and his 12 ships.I felt so sorry for Sang-nam who lost his legs and felt so proud of Kim Wan when he called Wakasaka octopus head and head butted him. That was great. But as far as YSS resuming his duties,I wish it could have went like this, He laughs in their face, goes to the king and strips his red robe off him, uses hot irons all over his body, hangs him up and whips him, then lets him crawl in the dirt and say"your eyes are not the eyes of a ruler"then leaves and retires to a peaceful spot and lives out his life. thanks

When YSS comes back and only has 12 ships, man that is the best. The man was truly a genius and a warrior. Everytime I tell people about YSS I always mentioned that he defeated the Japanese with only 12 ships. Its so hard to believe that it happened in real life. Not once did he lose focus on his purpose, to defend his people and his country. Even after going through all the torture and humiliation from the King, he remained focused on saving Chosun. That was awesome. The man never gave up.

;DJust watched episode 94.Wow,what a guy.To keep on track and be that determined to win even though his men and even Commander Kwan had doubts!I think his speech did it,He can make speeches! And that rat looking guy running off like a cowards, and the guy with no leggs beating a cup on the ground in support of YSS and that got all the men going. But to me the best part was the chain under the water and the women singing and dancing around in a circle to keep the japanese from noticing or hearing anything. How smart was that!WOW.I can't wait till Thurs when the actual battle starts.lets see Wakasaka laugh about the 12 ships then! Thanks

Wakizaka's interactions with Kim Wan were a little strange I thought. Also, I like your enthusiasm but don't you feel that Admiral Yi's reaction to his reinstatement was appropriate though not indulgent?
