Pardon me if this has already been pointed out but I recently noticed Kwon Yul is played by the same actor who was The Archfiend's military-minded monk, Ja-sun. The key clues are the occasional head tilt and reflective stare.
I am very much an interloper here because I haven't been watching the show much (no reflection on it I'm just catching up on several year's worth of deferred projects).
My wife has been taping every episode and if I can scrape together enough cash to bring the internet to our house she will be most likely joining this community as she is certainly a very dedicated fan of our local Korean television station, Channel 17 (UHF) in NYC.

I loved your "several years of deferred projects" -- sounds like my life story, lol. (Am I the only one who is totally tired of "LOL" but cannot bear "heh heh" and there's nothing else that suits? Um, LOL.)

I'm pretty sure that Kim Shi-min is played by the same actor as Yi Ji-Young, the Archfiend's drunken second son. It's funny how the two characters are completely opposite each other.
Also, everyone's favorite AOW character, "Monkey Man" Advisor Yi seems to play a red uniformed commander later on, but I have no idea who he is because I can't understand Korean.

You got it Captain, the constable of Jinju for is Archfiend Jr Jr! He does an impressive sword dance, I bet there are some great scenes with him swinging a sword.

Bo Personally, i think LOL takes a lot less time and effort than typing in - suprised look - "Ooh...ho...ho!" - "nsst...nsst..nsst..." - stroking beard - turning away with arms crossed and less badwidth to post the above scene from any number of Korean histroical drama episodes ;D |

I was wondering if anybody else noticed Master Dudel (one of the officers Yi soon shin disciplined) I'm not sure if that's Master Duduel. He looks like him with the high cheekbones, but his voice doesn't sound like his to me. But you may be right. I have a hard time distinguishing people beneath their different hair styles and facial hair, and I can never really tell some people's ages, if they're more older or more younger. Yeah, I don’t think one of YSS’s officer staff is Master Daduel. He looks physically fit and taller than Master Daduel. Whereas Master Daduel looks smaller and weaker looking as an elder grandfather. |
