These are who I have recognized so far..
1) Yi Soon Shins former peasant friend was the deposed emperor from AOW
2) That Peasant’s father was also on Aow for a short while in a peasant revolt (remember KDS was with them for a while)
3) The Jurchen Commander who attacked Nok-Dun was Choi Choong Hons right hand man.
4) Huh Seung was at Master Bangs military academy, he was the one who led the fight to expel Yi Soon Shin.
that’s all I can think of now, I think there is more.

"Huh Seung" also became YSS's resentful Commander in the North who eventually sees eye to eye with him on strategy over the reprisal for the Nokdune catastrophe. The actor's portrayal in this show is so cautious and politically uptight we can scarcely recognize him as the same person who played the edgy and fanatically dedicated Huh Seung.

The man under Soon-shin when at Nok-dune island (I forget his name: he was "Shin-jong's" cohort, he had green armor, his sister was kidnapped by the Jurchen) - does anyone know if he played on AOW? He looks so familiar. I thought maybe he played KDS's cousin, Soon-suk, or perhaps Do-sohn from the Dobang, but I'm not sure.

Yes! Here in Philly, we recently saw the episodes where YSS got accepted into Master Bangs's academy. I was sure the actor playing the student who wanted YSS expelled was Huh Seung in AOW. Thanks for the coonfirmation. (Still one good-looking guy, even without the beard). And I believe the old peasant from YSS's village was also one of the ringleaders in Manjok's revolt.

Other possible AOW-recycled actors: Yi Soon Shin's father is Archfiend's first right-hand-man, General Park, who had that tragic stabbed-by-a-circle-of-swords ending. One of Yi Soon Shin's officers (the one he first said he'd accept his resignation, then recanted), whose name is apparently also Yi Soon Shin (!), was Yi Ui-bang's younger bro. (the future ancestor of the founder of Chosun dynasty). I'm not sure, but is the older dude who plays Yi Soon Shin's "living map" (and who adopted the female doc.) Chung Jung-bu's son-in-law (the one who tried to hide with the pigs when he met his demise)? Is Yi Soon Shin's lieutenant (?), the guy who gets to bang the drum on the ship, Yi Ui-bang's other sworn-blood bro. (not Yi Ko, the other one, whose name escapes me...)?
