by far one of my absolute favorite episodes
for writing for humor for action for culture
and i am really sorry for those who miss out on the little nuances because the actors portray korean stereotypes to a T!! I was cracking up the entire episode at chun soo, moo jik, the baron, won kyoon.
and when soon shin pulled off that business deal - too clever! i thought it was wonderful writing

Maybe I'm missing the Korean stereotypes, but I am enjoying the plain Human nature stereotypes! Especially that ginseng broker, fuming and sputtering when his scheme didn't work.
About what would be the contemporary equivalents of the currency and weight(?) units? I know fresh ginseng is pretty expensive here and now.

i think it always has been...
when the baron slapped the table gleefully and cackled, i thought it was so funny

it was good, i must say. like the magistrates son would do anything. soon shin could kick that kid's ass.
EDIT:
just watched the first half of ep.11 on VOD. what did i tell you? the magistrate's son is a little brat who can't do anything on his own.
{the following is taken from the movie "Scarface"}
Frank Lopez: No please don't kill me. I never done nothing to nobody
Tony Montana: no, you got other people to do it for you
