Hi Ukfan, Don't forget to let your comment if you buy next time k-dramas or movies... Yes, it's weird if dvds from the States are cheaper than buy them in Uk... maybe the cost of insurance is expensive.... I went on your site today where you bought your Emperor of the Sea and i found exactly the same dvd set of "Green Rose" on Ebay! I decided to take a risk and I order it.... i hope to receive it in less ten days... now, "Summer Scent" is over and i thought watch a new drama... but nothing, KBS World didn't replace it by an another drama coz it's the World Cup 2006... i'm glad, i like watching football, but k-dramas miss me too... i hope it will be a great drama... but for Emperor of the Sea, i'm gonna to read many others reviews's comment.... yes, i hope to have a fast PC! All the best for you to! Sushimi

Hi sushimi
Wow! so you have ordered Emperor of the Sea...well done! you wouldn't regret it! In actual fact the viewers' rating in South Korean was around 40% when it was aired over there (Dae Jang Geum was something like 50+%)
Again, it was also shown in some parts of the US and in the middle east and I think in India too. It was very well received internationally. The drama is about this hero Jan BOJO of Korea (real story) that he opened up the sea route between the middle east and east asia including Japan about 1000 years ago!
Anyway, I am sure you are going to enjoy it. ;D

sushimi, if you liked Lee Jonghyeuk in “Hello, God!” I bet you’ll also like him in “Dr. Gang” (that’s the spelling they’re using on “The Asia Network”). I’m up to Episode #6 so far, and after a slow start, I’m really starting to enjoy it. Lee plays a city attorney who is tough on gangsters, but a little uncertain of himself around women - almost the same kind of character he was towards the end of “Hello, God!” Here, though, he’s finding himself in a love triangle (with young, reformed gangster) over a very smart and pretty (but also slightly ditzy) young doctor. Haein’s mom from “The Bizarre Bunch” also appears as the young gangster’s well-meaning mother. It’s a serious drama, but since all of the characters are a little goofy, it’s also a fun drama to watch. When “Dr. Gang” becomes available in your area, be sure to check it out. I think you’ll like it. Hi Mickey, yes, Lee is so amazing in Dr Park, so nasty! i liked the way he played! i'm not sure that Dr Khaeng (Dr Gang) will be show on the tv... i have only 3 asian channels, 1 chinese and 2 korean, but the other, arirang, their dramas are not really interesting... i found many comments of Dr Khaeng and they said it's a good drama.. just only 1 person said it's bad... i would like if the way he played in Dr Khaeng is good? i found some pics with him and i'm gonna to post it on this thread "Hello, God! - Lee Jonghyeuk"... i hope to find your comment in next time! Thank you for your answer ! Sushimi
