I was also going to record the episode this morning but in the rush to get ready I forgot. If anyone has a recap, that would help.
I'm not completely in the cold though; I recorded Saturday's episode but decided not to watch it because it was all fuzzy. I will have to go back and watch that one.

Meep! My VCR ate my tape! My VCR ate my tape! With Episode 6! Please help! (I know I'm asking on Wednesday ... 4 days afterward ... it's the world's revenge on me.) A recap would be nice. I must try to rethread the tape again.

Hmmm, I'll give it a try, since I watched it yesterday. Chae-ok and Horse feet (?) are in the rebel's hideout. Chae-ok wanted to find the coin making plate while the rebel went to a leper colony, but the rebel insisted she come with him. While there CO helps the rebel set a broken leg. An older man comes up to the rebel, and they take a break. The rebel and the man remember the first time they came to this leper colony. The man helped the rebel escape to here, since his father was a traitor. The rebel remembers the getaway scene on the horse, where his little sister falls off. You see where I'm going here? Just remember Chae-ok's flashback, they're bro and sis! The man brings the rebel a sword that belonged to the rebel's father. Inside was a paper with a phrase in calligraphy, when Chae-ok sees this she remembers her dad telling them this phrase! On there way back to town CO thinks long and hard about this, thinking that the rebel is her bro. That night, she squats in front of his hut, writing the phrase in the dirt. The rebel comes up behind her, and asks her who taught her to write. She says her dad, and tells him her dad is dead. She asks him about his dad, and he says he is still alive. CO leaves, believing he isn't her brother. Then the Rebel thinks to himself, "He will always be alive in my heart." Now the gates are open for incest! There's a new Lt., and he's very strict. Lt. Yoon was asked to train the army in their fighting skills, but he doesn't want to without the King's permission. Chae-ok sneaks into the rebel's hut with the help of Horse Feet, (?) he distracts the guards by making a poop by them. They were just talking to him, while he was doing his business! This scene was funny and gross. I'm sorry, that's all I remember, but the scene at the leper colony was the most important one, anyway.

Ew! The one with the business-doing is the most entertaining though. Thanks.
Did Mr. Rebel give any indication of thinking that she was his sister or is he just too lovestruck to know?

I don't think she'll start falling for the rebel.

Hey, a new thought occurs. Even if he DOES like her, he can't exactly start hanging all over her. Everyone else thinks she's a man (and would therefore be a little weirded out). And, there don't seem to be many women up there on that mountaintop - or maybe they just don't go to the mountain house - so it probably wouldn't be that safe if they found out she was a woman.

TRUE TRUE He cannot show his true feelings for her (if he was falling in love with her) because then that would be giving her up. And then they'd probably want to kill her because she is a Damo.

Even if not, it has to be a pretty dangerous situation for a woman to be on a mountain alone with all those men. Then again, if the boss likes her, they all worship him, so they'd probably like her too.
Ooh, I so want her to join the rebel force! Maybe when she "killed" him in the first episode, it was a fake (set up by Lt. Gen??) in order to allow both of them to escape and live free and happy forever (because by then they know they're bro and sis and not in danger in that way). Ah, that makes me feel better.

Because he doesn't seem to be the "bad guy", he seems to have a good heart. That thought came to my mind, that maybe the whole thing was set up and she really didn't kill him (or vice versa). or maybe, she does kill him, only to find out that he was her brother, but by then it's to late

Argh that would be too sad!
I finally watched episode 6 - just needed a little creative fixing of the vcr tape. I'm glad too because the leper colony scene seemed really important.
Also, on a side note, does anyone remember the music that they use for the mountain-rebel home idyllic scenes with the wooden flute? I have this cd that uses that song as a sample for another song - I was trying to find out if anyone knew its actual title - it seems like it's a folk song.
