The scene where Yoon and Chae Ok are fighting in the field (near the end of episode 2) is one of my favorite scenes from Damo. I liked the part where Yoon asked her.. Yoon: "What am I to you? Chae Ok: "The Lt. General of the police bureau whom I serve" Yoon: "Is that all?" Damo isn't heavy on dialogue. However, there are quite a few scenes with meaningful dialogue throughout the drama. To download a video clip of this scene use the links provided below. Ooh he made me so angry in that scene! He was jealous because she was mooning over someone? Is that illegal? Besides, I don't see what could be wrong about them getting married (her and the lt. general). I mean, they're smitten with each other, and her father was a respected official so she's not of low birth and his mother was a concubine so he's not especially high. But to want her to love him while giving her nothing in return and then kick her out of the bureau when she decided that another man was interesting and possibly attainable? Mean!

Ooh he made me so angry in that scene! He was jealous because she was mooning over someone? Is that illegal? Part of it was probably jealousy but she also disobeyed orders so he was already fairly angry with her. Also, they're on "assignment" and there she is staring off into space. You also have to look at it from that angle. I wasn't actually referring to the "swooning" scene though. I meant the scene before where Yoon went to see his dad and asked him to let Jae Hee (Chae Ok) become a Damo. Right before that, they showed a scene of Yoon leaving to go see his father and Jae Hee (Chae Ok) was watching him while standing by a tree. As he was leaving, he turned around and looked back at her. On a side note, Yoon can be compared to Jin Gook from MPC. He cares about Chae ok but he doesn't know how to express himself or be gentle with her.

On a side note, Yoon can be compared to Jin Gook from MPC. He cares about Chae ok but he doesn't know how to express himself or be gentle with her. He does seem to smack her around a bit! I liked that scene too. I really enjoyed the flashback that followed, which explains how Yoon and Chae-ok met. I felt so bad for the little guy, he was so angry! And Chae-ok was so tiny, how cute! It was very moving how she started crying when she found out that he was leaving. She seems so strong and tough, but she looked so scared when she found out she'd be seperated from him!

Sorry, I went off on a tangent. I was talking about the first scene you mentioned - in the field.
I did think that scene was sweet. I also like the one where Chae ok was walking away and he stood "swooning" over her - though his wife/fiancee didn't seem too pleased with that.

though his wife/fiancee didn't seem too pleased with that. She's not really either one. She's just in love with him. In case anyone is confused about who she is, Lady Nan Hee, is Jo Se Wook's (Yoon's superior) daughter. The guy that wanted to cut off Chae Ok's arm just so happens to be Nan Hee's brother.

Ooh, the plot thickens. I just assumed she was his fiance because I remember Chae-ok looking at her (after he told her to get lost in the field after they trained) and thinking "please marry him soon so I can leave and rest easy" or something like that.
I was wondering why he was so gung ho to chop off her arm anyway. Jerk.

I must have either been in a better mood or it really was a better episode. I seem to have enjoyed the second episode a lot more, I didn't even mind the flying/fighting scens. They were cool I must admit.
I liked all the scenes that were mentioned. But man, talk about taking rank/class seriously, poor myWill's booty, what's his name in the drama?

Hey what's the group shot in your signature? I keep trying to copy and paste it into word so I can see it but all it will paste is Mr. Rebel's picture! (not that I'm complaining....)
