Just a thought-has anyone come across any videos of out-takes from Korean dramas? I believe they may exist, as I saw a couple on the AnNyoung site, but it wasn't translated. Even without subtitles I think these would be very funny, especially the historical drama variety.

I remember a Korean TV drama awards show from maybe six months ago that had a few out-takes (one I recall was of Moon-hee of "To Be With You" walking along the beach when the wind blows her scarf away -- and she bursts out laughing as the crew runs to catch it). But I've never seen such out-takes compiled into one video. Would probably be a riot.

I got this from Korean Wiz's stie - YH out-takes can be seen at yellow.kbs.co.kr/clip/ng.htmlYou have to register with KBS to view them; Wiz's site tells you how to do so. In the odd chance you're not familiar with the Wiz, go to www.koreanwiz.org/ NOW! I remember one episode of 'So This is Love' where, instead of a teaser at the end, they showed a series of bloopers instead.

Attention blooper fans! Thursday night (Sept. 11) KTE in Los Angeles pre-empted their usual “Happy Together” show for a special, 40-minute broadcast of KBS bloopers (what the Koreans appear to call “NG’s”).
It had NG’s from a little of everything, from news broadcasts, commercials, variety shows, and of course TV dramas. Some were from dramas that haven’t made it to Chicago yet (but may do so in the future) including “Bodyguard” and “Scent of the Summer.” NG’s from shows familiar to Chicago fans included “The Age of Warriors” (Yi Ko amusingly having endless problems with his swords) and “Yellow Handkerchief” (Woon-kyu finding that the live eels he brought for Min-joo can be pretty hard to handle).
There were no English subtitles, of course, but since many of the NG’s were sight gags, it really didn’t matter much. This is a show well worth watching if it makes it to Chicago – sure wish I could tell you the title! The title was written in Korean, but English-only fans can identify it pretty quickly by the “X” in the middle of the title. (Korean writing – X – Korean writing). Catch it if you can!

Thanks, Mikey Sounds like you found a rare treasure. We don't get "Happy Together" in Chicago, so it will be a stroke of luck if anyone finds the NG show--kbs schedules are hard to come by. If you had the facilities and presence of mind to tape the show, let me be the first to order a copy!

Actually, I did manage to tape record most of the KBS Bloopers special. I only missed recording the first 5 minutes or so, which was just panel discussion (in Korean) anyway. You can PM me if you’re really interested in a copy of what I have, but be patient first, because Chicago always seems to get most of what Los Angeles gets within a few weeks. I doubt you need to be getting the Korean “Happy Together” show to get the Blooper special – I think it just happened to be the show that KTE decided to pre-empt for the Blooper special that week. By the way, the 2nd episode of the show “TV Stars Report” (the one with the actress who plays Sun-joo on Yellow Handkerchief) has a short report on the NG/Bloopers special (and they show a few of the better ones). I’m not sure, but this MAY be the show that’s airing this afternoon in Chicago. Certainly, it’s worth checking out. Also, by the way, in this 2nd episode of “TV Stars Report," the actress who plays Sun-joo has the most HORRIBLE looking hair imaginable! Honest, she looked like Rosanne Rosannadanna of the old Saturday Night Live show. Truly frightening)!

If you want to see NGs, you might want to check out the KBS show "Entertainment Relay" which has NG segments frequently. The free streaming videos (most of them are 56k, but it's the same thing at KBS site anyway) are at www.soompi.com/mediaOn the KBFD board, user Kalena posts summaries of what are on the shows (we get it unsubbed on a one month delay). She went by the episode number about halfway into the thread I think. I found some hilarious NGs of Age of Warriors that way. Here's the thread for that: www.kbfd.com/message/viewtopic.php?t=1171

also, on kbs.co.kr on the age of warriors site, there's a section called moo in plus. that is a bunch of behind the scenes tidbits and lots of NGs
all i can say is, yi ko flubbed a lot of his lines and he does it with style
there was one where he was supposed to be flogging yi ui min and he flogged himself in the face by accident
in another he was all ready to bust out his double swords from behind his back and they got stuck in the scabbard and i think he pulled a muscle hahahahahah
