I'm worried that the writers are using Minsup's relationship to his mother to segue into a relationship for Jinsoo and Yeonji. Minsup got to her with his speech about the deaf artist and, after yesterday's episode where Yeonji went to Jinsoo's drawing lesson with him and saw Minsup's interactions with his mother, she might be swayed to that.
What really sickens me is how today ESM practically was bribing her - "If I had a daughter like you I'd buy her pretty things every day."
I mean, if the writers want her to fall for Jinsoo, fine. But the foreshadowing with Granny and then the bribing with ESM and the not-so-subtle hints from DD are just too much.
What does everyone else think?

i think the poor girl is being forced to become "more than friends" with jin-soo. and its just....wrong. nobody even knows if jin-soo is capable of maintaining a romantic relationship.
theres nothing wrong with jin-soo falling in love but what is wrong is making him believe that every pretty girl he see mom and dad will bring her home to live with him like a cute puppy or something.

At this point, I am willing to lety them do whatever they want with the show - except extend it! Grandma's back to normal? Sure. Why not. Yesterday, the teaser showed Yoen-ji leaving, Jin-soo imploring her, and ESM looking on, concerned. What will happen? Whatever, I'm sure it will lack credibility.
Oh, well, come Tuesday it'll be behind us.

Everyone will settle into a ho-hum normal life except Jin-soo. It was wrong of his parents to cater to Jin-soo's dream of having Yeong-ji as a friend. It seems that they have no concern for her, but only for their son. It's not as innocent as it seems because Jin-soo may be challenged, but he still has the adolescent drives of a normal male.
Do they really think that Yeongj-ji will marry Jin-soo? They are putting her into a bad situation where she'll have to be there with Jin-soo all the time, or else he'll revert back to his former self. He was doing well having his parents back together, taking art lessons from Min-sup, going places with his parents, but falling in love?

Jin-soo will get better, and start a housewares company, specializing in cutlery. His "Jin-soo Knives" will be a big hit on that Korean home shopping show ;D

PERFECT,- LOL ;D ;D ;D Soju! WHAT exactly was the point of last nite's episode... or for that matter, what was the point of M, TU, and W? And Grandma... will she also have a miraculous recovery? ... like maybe another life-or-death brain surgery? There's no fascination here... except to see what they plan for us this evening. Jin-Soo Cutlery.

Jin-soo will get better, and start a housewares company, specializing in cutlery. His "Jin-soo Knives" will be a big hit on that Korean home shopping show Hah! I thought of that, but I thought I'd get yelled at for saying it! (No, really! I did!) I watched Ep. 171 this morning (I behindfore) where they pushed that girl into coming over to "tutor" Jin-soo. It was CREEPY. Especially Hee-soo, telling those ridiculous stories about her in-laws--it was almost as though she (H-S) believed her own fantasy! I think you're right, Sandy, it's not going to work out the way they hoped. However, it is the cardinal rule of every Korean soap that at the end, every young person has to either be married, or married and pregnant, or married with kids out already. And Kathleen, I must say I agree with you, too--the episode I watched from last Thursday (171) seemed like an ending to me! Everything seemed completely resolved at that point. They're just stretching it out for some inane reason. However, since this is the WORST Korean soap I've seen, without exception, I'm not tooooooo surprised... Bo

I also thought MPC was at its end. Because the last scene of that episode was HS and JK laughing and crying (happily) as they remembered how they met. Then the spoilers came on. I thought that the spoilers were not spoilers, but just the rest of the MPC ending. So when I saw JS and YJ in hanbok, I thought they ended up getting married. But then I saw the "To Be Continued" in the corner so I was like, "Oh." LOL!

like many of the other people. i believe that hee-soo is playing a primary part in all off this. 1) she's become ESM's little mind puppet: not that she has a choice because then ESM will say that she doesn't want jin-soo to be happy. And when yeonji fainted.. what was that spitting thing they had to do? i found it weird. maybe just me. but, it seemed really, gross........ have any of you seen someone do that? i've spinkled water on somebody's face, but never spat in it!
