I guess I will take this opportunity to add my voice to those who are officially sick of MPC. It took me longer than almost anyone, but enough is enough, people. (I'm looking at you, cast and writers.) This throwing of a bunch of plot at us at the very end, rather than adding excitement just makes it look more incoherent than ever. And I really don't like the way they've handled Grandma's problem. To go from, one day, having her in that in-between state where she knows what is happening to her, to, the next day, having her be so impaired that she only knows to repeat what people say and doesn't recognize anyone--that's just dumb. They formerly did a pretty good job with her decline and questioning whether there really was something going wrong with her, but this is just more evidence that they don't know how to end this thing and make whatever point they originally wanted to make.

I think it's been mentioned before, but a drama with some of the cast of OMR is on the way (at least for me and I'm assuming it's the same for you in Chicago)
Minjae and Hyunkyu (?) from OMR are two of the guys and Yoon from I'm Sorry, I Love You are the guys (these are the character's names from the dramas, not their real names). I don't recognize any of the females.

Is that drama the "My Sweetheart"? There has been some discussion and info on this drama in the Other Shows forum on the thread entitled "Lee Chang-hoon in a new drama." Lee Chang-hoon (OMR's Min-jae) and Kim Seung-soo (OMR's Hyun-kyu) are both in the new drama like Xelaevoli said. From what I heard, "My Sweetheart" has replaced MPC/MLF in Korea so maybe it will replace MPC/MLF over in Chicago? I hope so! "My Sweetheart" looks like a really good drama!
I agree with you Lucy. MPC/MLF needs to be over soon. Hee-soo had her twins, which was like the highlight of the show. Now it's back to being dull again.

i really love both the lead actors in OMR, jusy hoping they do well in their latest roles. I'll be really sad if they don't live up to their full potential. My sweetheart, nice title.... ;D

If the new drama that will air is going to be "My Sweetheart", then I think it will be a good drama. There's some info on it in The Other Shows forum. I hope "My Sweetheart" will be the new drama because it sounds really exciting!

I can't seem to get the tape to tape when the drama is showing, on morning re-shows. I'd like to get the last few MPCs and then start with the new shows. Can anyone give me a current time for these? I thought it was 8:30 a.m. to 9? Bo

Bo, whenever I've had to tape the morning show, I start it at 9 or shortly before, and let it go about an hour. I read here at some point that the "scheduled" time had changed to 9 a.m., but of course KBC is not going to follow a strict schedule no matter when they say it's supposed to be on.

...but of course KBC is not going to follow a strict schedule no matter when they say it's supposed to be on. How could you, Lucy, imply that KBC would be less than completely forthcoming on any issue with us, the faithful Chicago nonKorean-speaking hallyu followers? For shame! ;D (Thanks for your help. You so gooood.) Bo PS - just for giggles, I went in to look at the TV. It's 9:26 a.m. on Wednesday. Right now, KBC is showing a singing show, with a girl who sounds...um...not so good. So, MPC must be over already.

Sheesh! I don't know what to tell ya, Bo-babe. Maybe MPC didn't even start, or maybe they are going to have an all-bad-singing-and-colon-cleansing programming extravaganza.

It's been running pretty much from 8:50 - 9:25 -- give or take, as usual on ch 28

I hope "My Sweetheart" will be the new drama because it sounds really exciting! It's funny that an alternate translation for the title (judging from some of the links from the Other Shows board) is "My Pretty Darling." So we're going from "MPC"/"MLF" to "MPD." I wonder who the implied "Me" from all those "My" titles is? I keep asking myself that when I think about MPC/ MLF. (Does this make any sense?)
