I was wondering if you guys preferred eun-soo with the ex or with jung-hee. when the ex said that eun-soo didn't want her back because it was because of his mother, i kind of thought there might be some truth to it, but then i saw that she was such a B**** when we learned more about her. and i dont think there's much love between eun-soo and jung-hee though. jung-hee only is with eun-soo because of ji-woong. these are my specs. do you guys remember the scene where eun-soo and his father are talking about eun-soo, the ex, and jung-hee and after that scene they showed a real short scene of jung-hee singing to ji-woong as he slept? that scene for some reason creeped me out a bit because it made her seem a little crazy. im thinking she might do something crazy and snap in future eps. what do you guys think?

I would have voted for Jung-hee before she threatened murder-suicide. She is just plain nuts (which makes for great TV!). Now I vote that Eun-soo should stay single, until he can work out his issues with his mother and make a rational choice when picking a mate. He needs to stay away from Wenchy, even though she is the mother of his child (you wouldn't know that by the way she acts).

Betty, I had the same thoughts as you. The Ex is a B**** and I don't think Eun-Soo could ever come up to her expectations. She just gives me chills when she's around. Jung-Hee is sweet, but it seems that she's mothering Ji-Woong more than loving Eun-Soo. In many ways, she also seems very immature and dependent.
Jenny, I think Eun-Soo should get his life together like getting a JOB and stability before he marries again. His mother is a big problem because she's so controlling and interfering. It seems like he's giving little thought to raising his son because his parents are there for him. Ji-Woong must be confused. I think Ji-Woong prefers Jung-Hee because she's there for him unlike his mother who has her own ambitions. However, as Ji-Woong grows up, having a playful mother like Jung-Hee might cause him problems.

I agree with you that he should not marry at all until he is more emotionally independent from Mom, but isn't he still being paid by Jin-kook (through Hee-soo) for working on the Ahn family story so that Jin-kook can make a movie out of it? I thought his income was from JK first for private eye work, then for the writing of the book/screenplay. You know who needs a job, friends? THE MOUTHY MOMMA of Hee-soo and Eun-soo. She needs a life. Another question....why does Wenchy want him back if he is so "immature and weak"? She just wants to manipulate him instead of having the mother manipulate him!!!!! She has an agenda in wanting him back and it's not love....back to the inheritance piece.....you with me?

I missed some episodes, so I'm unaware that Jin-Kook was paying Eun-Soo money for making a film. I remember Eun-Soo doing a lot of detective work.
As for the inheritance issue, I'm confused. Did Eun-Soo's father inherit some property that he doesn't want to sell because of ancestry? Maybe the Ex is coldly thinking that she will inherit some of it in the future. She's very calculating, so maybe that's why she's hanging on to Eun-Soo.

No, Eun-soo's ex mentioned something about an inheritance on her first or second appearance (they were unclear, but I assumed that she was referring to her own family). Maybe you are right and it has to do with Eun-Soo's family. As for JK paying Eun-Soo, there was an episode a long time ago where JK gives money to Hee-Soo for her brother's "expenses" while he did the PI work. Later there was reference in a few episodes (not recently, though) to the "book" Eun-Soo is writing being about the Ahn family story. Adding that to the part where JK (even from his bad attitude days) wanted to make a movie, and I put the two ideas together and am guessing that maybe JK is paying him for a screenplay, not a book. That was never said, though.
